Exactly 10 years ago, I graduated from college and made a choice that most would call reckless—I never took a job. Not because I didn’t want stability or success, but because I believed in building something from scratch, on my own terms. I had no roadmap, no guarantees, just a dream and the hunger to make it happen.

The past decade has been a rollercoaster. My first venture was a small civil consultancy, where I learned the basics—negotiation, team building, and how to manage clients. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me grit. Then came the edtech journey, where we went from teaching extracurricular activities to running a full-blown on-demand tutoring platform. It grew beyond my imagination—five cities, thousands of customers, and even funding rounds. But the reality behind those numbers? Sleepless nights, pivot after pivot, and learning the hard way what not to do.

And let me be honest—it wasn’t all motivation and belief. I’ve had moments where I questioned everything. Times when I walked away from what I’d started, frustrated beyond measure. I’ve cried, gotten mad at destiny, and wondered if I had made the biggest mistake of my life. But through it all, something within me refused to give up entirely. I took breaks, recalibrated, and came back stronger. Because that’s the truth—no journey worth taking is smooth, and mine was far from perfect.

Somewhere in between, I expanded my family business, dabbled in new ventures, and failed at a few. Each failure hit hard, but each one left behind lessons that shaped me into who I am today. Every wrong turn became a stepping stone, every mistake a page in my personal playbook.

Now, as I look back on 10 years, the journey feels surreal. From that fresh graduate filled with ambition to building India’s largest legal and financial awareness community, it’s been a ride. What stands out to me most isn’t the ventures or the numbers but the impact—the people we’ve helped, the connections we’ve made, and the purpose we’ve found.

To anyone reading this, here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Bet on yourself, always. No one will believe in you until you do.
2. Failures are just feedback. They’re painful, yes, but they’re also necessary.
3. The “perfect time” doesn’t exist. Start now, with what you have.
4. It’s okay to fall apart sometimes. What matters is getting back up.

I’m proud of the journey, but I’m hungrier than ever for what’s next. This is not the end—it’s just the beginning of another chapter.

To everyone who’s been a part of this, thank you. For the support, the criticism, the encouragement—it means more than you know.

Here’s to another 10 years of building, learning, and leaving a mark. Let’s keep growing, not just in age but life.

We reduced the price from ₹999 (in 2022 and 2023) to ₹699—a 25% discount—and produced 12,000 copies. To achieve this, we adjusted the paper quality and size slightly, believing it wouldn’t impact the overall experience.

But we underestimated the bond our loyal users share with the Jagruk Journal. For them, it’s not just a journal—it’s a personal archive of memories, growth, and self-reflection. When the 2024 edition didn’t meet their high standards, they made their disappointment clear.

Your Feedback Shaped the Jagruk Journal 2025
We heard you loud and clear, and here’s what we did:

1. Premium Quality: We brought back the finest paper and made the journal larger, giving you more space to write and preserve your memories for a lifetime.

2. Enhanced Features: By popular demand, we added Jagruk Planners, Trackers, Reminder Cards, and exclusive goodies to make this edition more functional and rewarding.

To provide the quality and features you deserve, we had to increase the price slightly. Even then, at ₹1,199, the 2025 edition is only 20% higher than the earlier versions in 2022 and 2023.
