So, I have removed all of my Zoids Reaction videos in reaction and response to the situation going on between ShoPro and SuedeBlade which you can get more details regarding that over on their channel (for however much longer it has left before its gone) and twitter. twitter.com/SuedeBlade/status/1486990533168107522

The short of it is, they have been doing Pokemon critique and analysis videos for a long time, and now ShoPro, the company in Japan who handle distribution for Pokemon, Zoids, and a whole bunch of other manga and animated media, bullcharged their way through the usual copyright claim strike system that YouTube has in place... and Suede is facing an actual court case lawsuit. Normally how the strike system works is that you can counter-claim it, but ShoPro have forgone that and jumped straight into legal actions...

In the past my Zoids videos have received claims and blocks from ShoPro, and that was the extent of it... But if they are willing to do this to someones channel who has less than half the subscribers I do, it unfortunately only solidifies my decision to stop making Reaction videos to animated content... And this sadly is not an isolated incident. I can't help but remember the events with Toei and TeamFourStar in regards to the DBZA content...

My thoughts and wishes go out to SuedeBlade and everyone else out there who post AMV's, Analysis, Critiques, Theory etc videos utilising Pokemon or any other media that ShoPro has a hand in... or any Japanese animation studio or distributor.

So, I've been changing this channel from a reactions one to a gaming one. That's not to say I won't post up the occasional reaction video from time to time, but they will not be the sole focus from now on.

With that said, I thought that I would share with you all my plans for 2021 as I understand them right now. These are of course subject to change as new information comes to light, or stuff gets delayed. Without further ado.


April 13th: Three live streams of the new FFXIV Patch 5.5 content, starting with the Diamond Weapon boss fight, then the 3rd Alliance Raid in the "YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse" collab series, and finally the MSQ (Main Scenario Quest) update for Patch 5.5

April 23rd: Unboxing video of the "Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139" (I didn't come up with the name, blame Yoko Taro :P ) White Snow edition, followed by a live stream of Nier Replicant gameplay for an hour or two, depending on the boss fights.

Each day afterwards, apart from Thursdays and Sunday's due to work schedules and other commitments, will (hopefully) consist of a one/two hour stream of Nier Replicant gameplay, which once that game is eventually completed i.e. every ending has been achieved, I will shift gears to Nier Automata itself.

May 14th: Mass Effect Legendary Edition and its playthroughs will become a thing :) If I'm still doing Nier Replicant/Automata during that time, I'll have those on alternating days

May 15th and 16th I will be occupied with the FFXIV Fan Fest online events so look out for streams of those

End of May: FFXIV Patch 5.55 content arrives, don't know precisely when that is myself as all they've said has been the end of May. Nevertheless, expect content streams of that as well for the Bozjan Southern Front and others.

July 27th: "NEO The World Ends With You" comes out and I will be giving that a fair run through

And of course during all of this I will still continue to be putting out Genshin Impact content.

Down the line I do intend to do a playthrough stream series of Final Fantasy 16 when that arrives, and if I've managed to get myself a PS5 by then. As well as maybe get in some Halo content once I've got all my Xbox stuff rebooted and sorted out.

So I've decided to remove all the Steven Universe Reaction Series videos from my channel... Thankfully there was the Download option so I've got (mostly) all my SU Reaction videos on a new external hard drive.

The plan, once I can get a free moment to do so, will be to upload them to my Dropbox, and then make a new video for each season which has a link to that seasons section of videos...

Otherwise I'd have to make a hundred different mini vlog videos and put up a hundred different links in each one ^_^;; Figure that this route would be the easiest for everyone involved.

However, that being said when it comes to Steven Universe: Future, I will probably be doing the vlog thing per episode plan. Mostly so that I can use that to go over each episode in detail, thoughts and ideas and such.

We will see what happens from here on out, and hopefully I don't get a third strike... I really don't want to have to try and have my channel restored again, it is such a pain in the backside... ESPECIALLY when the Copyright Strikes aren't even appearing in my emails inbox. Only reason I know they're a thing is when I open YouTube itself on my computer and get the Copyright School pop up message thing.

Aaaand that's a second strike against the channel now... this time for "Steven Universe Reaction Series Season 4 Episode 21"... At this rate I think I might need to just pull all the SU content from my channel just to prevent another strike from taking place and losing the channel again :( But I will see what I can do in regards to putting it up in another format for you all.

So... Warner Bros manually detected and removed via copyright strike, episode 15 of season ones SU reactions... when that video was already globally blocked and nobody could watch... well thats one strike going into the new year amidst all the COPPA debacle... This is gonna be fun.

So that didn't take too long... Uploaded Part 1 of the reaction just before 4pm my timezone yesterday, and it got globally blocked by Turner EST and Turner EMEA Kids about 9:30pm the same day...


This is another reason why I did this in parts rather than the full hour and a half thing as some people were asking for. Imagine if you were in the middle of watching it and then it just went poof. If I'd had the time yesterday I would have uploaded all the parts, of which there are six.

Currently working on re-making a MEGA account since I cannot remember my password for the one I made two years ago ^_^;; Thankfully I've got my gaming channel so I can grab that email for it... I'm also putting the reaction into the G-Drive as well like I did for the Steven Universe Season 5 finale which worked... reasonably well I think.

Once that's all sorted I'll make a review video about the movie with the links below so that you can pause the review, watch the reaction, and then resume the review if you want to watch it :)

So how the links will work out... I'll put up the full thing in the MEGA, since there were some complaints and issues last time around about it being blocked or something. I got no notifications in my email about anything being blocked for others to view. In the G-Drive I'll put up Parts 1 - 6 so that if you only have a few minutes yourself then you can watch the movie as if it were regular SU episodes.

I'll admit I was tempted to title the videos as "Steven Universe Season 6 Episode 0 Part 1" etc since... well, it does feel like if they were to do another season, it'll use the movie as its start point :P

One great big musical and oof my heart! <3 Now just gotta edit it all up for the channel etc... especially since I got interrupted an hour or so into it by the post arriving... Really need to get a mailbox sorted for those...

7 years ago, this channel started as the test-proving bed for my university coursework... dear lord looking back on it makes me cringe >.< I vaguely remember some of the stuff we did with 3D Max Autodesk back then, which is sadly out of date since this was seven years ago... Currently getting to grips with Blender and Metasequioa in the mean time though, partially because even though my Autodesk work is cringey to look back on, I did enjoy making the stuff... when the program didn't decide to do something weird and stupid with the polygons and bones and mapping and *descends into incoherent rants and ravings*
