Hey guys, been a while. Sorry about that, haha. It’s not that I don’t want to upload, it’s just that I’ve been busy. Lately I’ve been discouraged to play the piano at all, actually. The stresses of life build up quickly, and sometime I feel so lost in all of that. My skills as a musician have vastly diminished because I haven’t been playing, and that is disheartening. I want to learn a piece called “If I am with you” by Yoshimasa Terui. The song makes me feel things I don’t understand. But I also don’t want to just do covers, anymore. I want to write songs. The kind of songs that make people feel things. But that’s an even harder task than improving my skills. To play perfectly is one thing, but to create something… I’ve tried several times, but always end up scrapping my ideas.
Do you have any tips? What should my song be about? What should it sound like? Feel like?
