Yes, I am the Mario ping pong guy from the video of my roommate and I playing a game on our college beer pong table. We uploaded the video and it sat there for 4 years with about 40 views until my-ex-girlfriend posted it on reddit and it unexpectedly blew up. It's been cool to see the response to it over the years and we appreciate.. and often laugh hysterically.. at some of the comments. We're glad that it has elicited positive vibes and memories/musings etc. I promise (minor) internet fame has not changed our lives one bit aside from it being a useful anecdote to relate at a cocktail party. Not that I bring it up, I swear!

I lament how youtube has changed over the years. Surely it has become a near-indispensable part of our daily routine, but the evolution of its algorithm based solely on ad-revenue has squeezed out so much of the quirkier and interesting content that was much more readily available in its early days. Hope you like my random vids.
