Nelson Chamisa has announced his return to active politics. He said he is not launching a political party, but a movement.

He added that he will not join forces with figures like Douglas Mwonzora, whom he accused of assisting ZANU PF in destroying the MDC. He however said he forgives him.

Chamisa's announcement follows the promise he made in December to establish a new movement, which he says will usher a democratic transition to Zimbabwe.

When asked whether he still believes in his strategy of deliberate ambiguity, Chamisa said that strategies used in the past will not be applied in the new movement. He called on all citizens to unite and bring an end to ZANU PF rule.
