Why 90% of Beginners Lose Their First Trades? :(

Alex discovered trading after watching videos of people turning small accounts into huge profits. It looked simple—buy, sell, make money. So he opened an account, deposited his savings, and placed his first trade without a plan.


The trade went into profit almost immediately. Excited, he closed it early and thought, "Trading is easier than people say."


The next day, he increased his position size. This time, the market moved against him. Instead of accepting a small loss, he removed his stop loss because he believed the price would come back. It didn't.

Determined to recover his money, Alex placed another trade—then another. Each trade was larger than the last. What started as one losing position turned into emotional trading driven by fear, hope, and frustration.


By the end of the week, most of his account was gone.


The painful part wasn't that Alex lacked intelligence. It was that he skipped the fundamentals that experienced traders spend years learning.


The reality is that many beginners struggle because they:
Chase quick profits instead of building consistency.Risk too much on a single trade.Trade without a written plan.Let emotions decide when to enter or exit.Believe every trade has to be a winner.Follow random tips from social media without understanding the reasoning behind them.

I think it is the opposite.... beginners specially trading in demo account win a lot, "Beginners Luck" but when they transfer to real account, they will have specifically low capital size compared to Demo $10k or $100k account. And in real account the spread, slippage and high risk even with 0.01 lot size  in their real low account size...sooner or later they will blow the account. 0.01 lot size  on XAUUSD is a lot in dollar value terms
