Located 55 miles south of downtown Chicago, Kankakee county is brimming with unique local businesses including restaurants and shops, impressive historical locations, community spaces, family-oriented attractions, sports complexes, and of course the Kankakee River State Park. The area also offers higher education at both Olivet Nazarene University and Kankakee Community College.

Towns located in Kankakee County include Bourbonnais, Bradley, Kankakee City, Manteno, Momence, Grant Park, Essex, Bonfield, and Herscher.

However, I do travel outside the area to places many people may not even be aware of such as Cissna Park, Watseka, Peotone, Kempton, and Kentland, Indiana with more to come.
