I also go by “Gulz”. Just having fun and enjoying being an Aussie sim racer. I use iRacing mainly. It would be my dream to go from sim-racing to real world racing! Shouldn't be too hard right?

Hey everyone, just a quick update for you all!

Ive been holding off calling this but looks like no live stream tonight unfortunately 😥

Ive been really, really unwell the past week and just have not gotten much better, need to take the night to rest up. I think I’ll probably be a hazard in the race. Genuinely gutted to miss this one… I don’t think I’ve missed a league race in quite some time.

Especially tough missing Round 2 tonight as we had a really great opening race last week. Wanted to build on the momentum!

Hoping to be back for Round 3 next week 👊

Although I hope you’re all having a great start to your week, I’ll be back soon.

Happy Friday everyone 👋

Not much happening this week, preparation has started for the iRacing Sebring 12 Hour next weekend which has come around very quickly.

At this stage I’ll most likely be driving the Dallara P217 (LMP2) and it’s been… interesting to say the least, getting used to it around Sebring. Should be another great live stream event for you all to jump into!

On the sponsorship side, ‪@ForTomorrowFitness‬ who have been supporting me for quite a while now have just gone through a full rebrand. Really cool to see the direction they’re heading.

You can check out their new video here:

Also, the iRacing Season 2 update dropped the other day 👀

What are we thinking? Who is keen to try the new St. Petersburg street track?

Another Happy Friday everyone 👋

Not a whole lot going on this week to be honest. With FDL wrapping up last Tuesday and with the F1 being down in Melbourne last weekend, I’ve had a small chance to take a bit of a breather.

I spent all four days at the Australian Grand Prix which was awesome as always. The atmosphere was incredible and the place was packed.

That said… I do have a few thoughts on the new regulations.

The cars look fantastic. No complaints there.
But the racing… Let’s just say I’m not a huge fan.

Passing into a corner or setting up a move. But overtakes happening at the start or halfway down the straight because the car in front suddenly “ran out of battery”… that doesn’t really feel like proper racing to me.

That said, it was only the first race under the new regs so there’s definitely room for things to improve. Let’s see how this second race weekend plays out.

What did you all think of the racing?

1️⃣ Loved it
2️⃣ Needs improvement
3️⃣ last regs were much better
4️⃣ bring back V8’s/V10’s

Happy Friday everyone 👋

Final round of FDL Season 5 at Interlagos is done and dusted!

We had our best qualifying of the season, starting P7 and less than 0.4 seconds off pole which felt great heading into the race. Unfortunately things went wrong straight away as I stalled the car off the line and got hit from behind about a metre into the start.

From there it turned into a full recovery drive.

The pace was strong all race. We were passing cars left, right and centre and even managed to set the 3rd fastest lap of the race. By the end we worked our way back into the top 10 fight and had a great battle with Jaxon for P8 on the final lap. He just edged me out on the line by less than 0.1 second on the line for a photo finish.

In the end P9 was still a solid way to finish the season.

Unfortunately we just missed out on the top 13 in the championship, but the last few rounds showed some really strong pace and consistency which I’m happy with.

Now it might be time for a short break from the weekly grind and hopefully put a bit more focus back into making YouTube videos instead of just streaming every week.

On another note… I’m back at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix for the 23rd year 🇦🇺

Already spent a day at the track and it was absolutely packed for a Thursday. Easily the busiest Thursday I’ve ever seen. F2 is out on track right now and I can’t wait to see the F1 cars out there soon.

Question for you all:
Who’s going to the Australian GP this weekend and who do you think is going to win the first race of the season?

Happy Friday everyone! 👋

Small recap for you all from Round 7 at Nürburgring, which was absolutely flippin wet. There was so much standing water you could have driven a boat out there!! 🛥️

The sprint race didn’t exactly go to plan. Got driven into the side on lap 1 while making an overtake which dropped me toward the back. We fought our way through the field but had a small spin along the way. With a few penalties handed out across the race we ended up P18.

The feature race was a much better story. Qualified P22 which wasn’t ideal, but this time I stayed out of trouble and just kept pumping in consistent laps when it mattered. Managed to bring it home in P10 which felt like a massive result in those conditions and some solid championship points in the bank.

We have one more round to go at Interlagos next Tuesday. After that I’m looking forward to putting some time back into making proper videos again. Streaming and practicing eats up a lot of free time, especially when you’ve got a full time job in the mix.

And of course… the AUSGP is next week. Can’t wait!!!

Question for you all. Who’s pumped for the first race of the 2026 F1 season? And who’s going to be at Albert Park?

Hey! Happy Friday everyone 👋

Sorry we missed last week. Let’s catch you all up.

Tuesday at Adelaide was a proper rollercoaster. We had great pace and our best qualifying of the season in P9, not far off pole. At one stage we even led the race.

Unfortunately under the safety car we were hit from behind and spun around, which dropped us to the back. As street circuits usually go, the deeper you are in the pack the greater the risk. A group of cars battling ahead collided and blocked the track, leaving me nowhere to go but straight into them.

Eight minutes of repairs later we finished P23. Not the result the pace deserved, but is what it is now. Two rounds to go with Nürburgring up next.

Now the focus shifts to the Bathurst 12 Hour tomorrow. I will be driving the Mercedes as part of one of our two four driver teams. I will have the live stream up from my team so you can follow along.

Hope you have all had a fascinating week especially with F1 back for the second week of Bahrain testing.

Question for you all… what do we think about Ferrari’s chances this year? 🇮🇹

Happy Friday everyone 👋

Quick recap from Tuesday’s FDL race, while the stream itself was entertaining, the racing on my end was dramatically chaotic.

The sprint race didn’t get off to a great start after getting caught up in a first-lap incident that dropped me all the way to the back. I spent the rest of the race working my way forward, but with such a short race there wasn’t much opportunity to recover to where we could’ve been.

The feature race wasn’t much kinder either, involved in two separate incidents. The first came early and luckily the safety car came out not long after due to another incident, which allowed me to catch back up and reset. Unfortunately, the second incident happened on the final lap, which forced a retirement.

It would’ve been a solid base of points if we’d seen the chequered flag, but… it is what it is.

On a different note, prep for the iRacing Bathurst 12 Hour has officially begun with plenty of laps being logged to get ready for it 💪

Hope you are all having a fantastic week. What’s everyone been working towards lately, racing or otherwise?

Another happy Friday everyone 👋

Thought I would start with a bit of recap from Tuesday’s FDL race at Circuito de Navarra, which actually went really well. Qualifying wasn’t ideal starting P22/40, but the race pace was strong and consistent. Managed some great early overtakes, stayed out of trouble, and worked my way up to P10.

The final lap turned into a serious defensive battle, but we held on and brought it home for some solid points, really happy with that drive 💪

On the personal side. It’s been a bit of a quiet week otherwise, but I am very glad F1 is back, even if it’s only testing and not televised (slightly frustrating…). The hype train is definitely starting to roll again though.

I do have a quick question for you all, what are your thoughts on testing so far?

Do we reckon Mercedes have the championship already wrapped up in a neat little package this year? 👀🏁

Hope you all have a great weekend 🙌

Another happy Friday everyone! 👋

Quick recap of the week. The Sandown Revival Motoring Festival recap is now live on the channel. What an event. Huge crowds, great vibes, and seeing the Formula BMW back out in front of so many people was honestly pretty sweet! If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s definitely worth a watch.

FDL this week was a bit of a mixed bag. The sprint race was pretty good, starting P21 and working my way up to P10 by keeping it clean, dodging the chaos, and making some solid passes. The feature race… not so much. Got hit from the side which dropped me to the back, and then on the final lap I lost the rear and spun. No damage thankfully, but crossed the line P24 after starting P16. One of those nights I guess.

Hope you’ve all had a great week. We’re back at it again on Tuesday night for FDL at Circuito de Navarra, so it should be an interesting one. 👀🏁

Happy Friday everyone 👋
Hope you’ve all had a great holiday break and a solid start to the new year!

Just a quick update on what’s been happening lately. The Formula BMW is coming back to town. For any fellow Melbournians, we will be at the Sandown Revival Motoring Festival on Saturday & Sunday, January 17th-18th. Jonathan from Munday Racing will be back behind the wheel, putting the car through its paces and testing all the upgrades and fixes we wrapped up late last year. I’ll be there helping out and watching my baby finally hit the track again, it’ll be the first time in nearly a year, which is pretty special.

On the sim side, a massive thank you to everyone who joined the livestream on Tuesday for Round 1 of the Formula Drivers League. If you missed it, the replay is up on the channel so check it out. Round 2 is locked in for Tuesday the 20th, so hit the Notify Me button and let’s build this thing up 💪
