VERY BIG UPDATE

Hey y'all. I just made a playlist containing every acoustic song I've done on streaming. Id make a video compilation, but unfortunately I do everything from my phone and I don't have enough storage to do that... But I hope you all check it out and enjoy some of my acoustic music.

Another update. Euphoric Melancholy is still in production. It's been a grueling process due to the fact I'm not doing this from my phone. I have dedicated recording time and am cowriting the album with a friend you've heard in the Swell split album. Noah Magnelli is helping me write a song completely from scratch. It's going to be a long process, as our vision for this song is massive. Lots of layers, professional production, and the fact it's going to be 10+ minutes long. Complete with drums, guitars (many layers of which), bass, and keys from a special guest that I will announce when the song is closer to completion. This guest is also doing an intro and outro song with me, as this is probably going to be 3 or 4 songs. Some of you may know him from a very special project that happens to be from my area. His name is making waves in the goth/pop/prog community.

Last update. Art is complete for the 15 Years CD run. I just need to scrape up the funds for this and pray to God it sells well. Kommit did the album art from scratch, using pictures of me from my childhood to create a dark and authentic representation of the release. For those of you who are unaware, the album is about my experience with SA at the age of 8. It put me through hell to create that album and I was hospitalized immediately after recording vocals for a song because it put me through so much stress. But it was an essential part of my healing from the trauma. It was so cathartic and intense, but helped me tremendously to release all that anger, sadness, fear and shame into the songs.

I'm sorry for the lack of uploads. These songs are taking a long time. Those of you who have been here a while know this unusual for me, as I usually release an album or EP every month or 2. I would release something in between, but I want all my focus on this album. You will love it, I swear to God you'll love it. It's going to be beautiful, painful and the best thing I've ever worked on.

Instead of being a full length, Euphoric Melancholy will be a collaborative effort between me and 2 other musicians. It will be special. I hope lol. I'll be releasing a single once we finish the first song, but there will only be one released for this one. It's a big one :)

Hello everybody,

I have some bittersweet news.

The bad -- I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from CØL and music. I have a very good reason I think you all will be excited about.

Now for the good news -- I am starting my education at a college nearby, with a full scholarship and everything paid for me. I am 25 years old and thought it is about time I've done something with myself, and I think this will be great for my mental health.

I will be studying at West Virginia tech studying AI so I can develop my own music creating model, and I'm going to call it COLAUDIO. I will be able to create original art beyond my wildest dreams using AI. I promise it will be better than anything you've ever heard me create. I'll be utilizing it to make some of the best and most authentic DSBM you ever heard

Also this is an April fools prank. Screw AI.

"Euphoric Melancholy" is my next album, focusing more on darker themes relating to my past trauma and PTSD, while also discussing themes of depression and mania. It will be more DSBM focused with occasional breaks of instrumental, mostly focusing on a darker and more intense theme, similar to my older music and my more recent dsbm tracks. This album was originally going to be a concept album called "448" but I decided I want to do something a little more personal and touch on things I haven't processed properly.

I'm excited to start working on it.
