Just like two years ago, EVO was an amazing tournament. I am proud to have made it this far with Xiaoyu, considering the current state and meta of the game. Having to face Wecka in tournament, my very own Xiaoyu GOAT, and actually being able to win, that was truly special for me 😊

And on top of that, I got to meet so many of you guys. Thank you for your encouraging words and your support, I will continue to do my best with Xiaoyu. You can still do well with this character, just keep fighting and practicing.

I am still in Vegas for a couple more days. I have my ENTIRE EVO VEGAS RUN recorded, so you can look forward to that. Until then, keep fighting Lingnation ❤️

Yes, it's finally happening, the ULTIMATE SEASON 2 LING XIAOYU COMBO GUIDE IS DROPPING IN 3 DAYS! 🥳🥳🥳

I know you've been (very patiently) waiting for this one. Apologies for that, it was essential to wait for the july patch as it's (supposedly) the last big patch for season 2 Xiaoyu. Trust me, it will be worth the wait….This is the most extensive combo guide I've ever made, with tons of info and tips to master her combo game. But more on that later 👀

On a more serious note, let's address the elephant in the room: Season 2 has killed a lot of hype regarding Tekken 8, a lot of people have actually stopped playing this game. And yes, it's a challenge to enjoy this game in its current state, given its focus on aggressiveness. As a Xiaoyu player, I hope this video will be the spark you needed to enjoy spending time with Xiaoyu again.

Dear Lingnation,

I have some exciting updates for you:

1. As you may have already noticed, we are now multistreaming on Twitch and on YouTube at the same time, which has been amazing so far. I know some of you actually prefer YT over Twitch, so from now on you will always have two options ☺️

2. I should have announced this sooner, anyway…I'm introducing the LINGNATION COMMUNITY DAY! ❤️ Once every 1,5 to 2 weeks, we will have Viewer Matches ONLY on stream. I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to play a FT2 with me, but not only that, it would be a great way to also give feedback and to discuss how to improve and what to work on next. This won't be as in depth as an individual coaching session, however you will still get the opportunity to work on your gameplay while playing a set. I hope you guys like that idea! I'm not sure yet but I think you will have to be in twitch chat to join the queue (by command !join), we'll see how it is going to work out once I'm going live.

Speaking of live, the first Lingnation Community Day starts in a couple minutes, I will be live very soon! See you there! ❤️

Dear Lingnation,

At this point I'm sure that you saw the news - Season 2 is, in its current state - a disaster. A lot of new spammable 50/50s, chars receiving homing, plus on block, range 5 mids, homogenizing them more and more. They announced more defensive mechanics, instead we got more aggressive gameplay and less counterplay opportunities. Bandai Namco already announced a hotfix for Paul and Jack-8 moves, and that they will look into the community feedback to change even more. A lot of (pro) players are asking the producers to revert the entire patch.

What I'm trying to say is, it is very uncertain what will happen next to Tekken 8, making it difficult to create content for Season 2 Xiaoyu right now. While I won't stop posting videos, I will be careful regarding deep dives or move/strategy/combo analysis (Combo Video 👀) until Bando Namco announces what's next for this game and season. Once there's an update, I will let you know of course.

Speaking of content, I've still a lot of season 1 Xiaoyu videos archived that I haven't posted yet. I think now might be a good time to continue posting them as well. I hope you don't mind, ofc I will add "season 1" to the video title so you will know if the gameplay will be pre-season 2 or not.

And lastly, let's say happy birthday to someone very special…Ling Xiaoyu! 🥳✨🎁 Her birthday is on the 7th April, so let's celebrate this very special day, Lingnation 🙌

Dear Lingnation,

thank you for all the love on my Season 2 Update video. This video will serve as the main breakdown analysis for her season 2 changes, so I'm glad that it's been received well so far. The season 2 patch in general has gotten mostly negative reviews from the community. Overall too many buffs and new 50/50s to the point where characters are losing their identity and weaknesses. Chars like Paul, Jack, Feng, Drag, and many others come to mind. However, although Xiaoyu's season 2 buffs are decent, compared to other chars she didn't get a lot of big changes. At least she kept her identity though, and with the addition of new combo tools, strong aerial spin moves RDS D3,4 and FF4, she actually received new combos, more versatility, and she can deal more damage now.

I'm seeing a lot of comments about a new Combo Guide, would you be interested in that? It's been a while since my last one, however it would take up a lot of my time to do a new one. Dozens of clips I need to record and inputs (notation) that I would have to generate. However, if the majority would like to have one, I will make a new one. Please let me know what you think!

Also, what are your thoughts on season 2 so far? Do you like the current state of the game? Let me know in the comments 👊

With the release of Season 2 of TEKKEN 8 only being a couple weeks away, I've been thinking of my goals for this next tournament season. While I had some strong performances at these past tournaments, it did not take a lot of time for me to realize that I would love to compete again on the biggest (tournament) stage on the planet, EVO LAS VEGAS 2025. Showing the world what I'm able to do, with Ling Xiaoyu.

I was very hesitant to post this because I've never been a fan of asking for help. However, ultimately this is just me being sincere and trying to follow my dreams. So I wanted to take a chance and ask for your support, with truly no expectations in mind.

Currently, I am trying my hardest to reach 999.999 rank points with Xiaoyu until season 1 ends. I would only be the third Xiaoyu player on this planet to make that happen, and the first one in Europe.
