Hello Guys…

CGL Prelims is almost over, and this year has been full of unexpected things.

Honestly, I wasted a lot of precious time after Phase 13 focusing on new topics in Reasoning and Maths, but the outcome was literally zero—not a single question came from those new areas. I had also planned to finish GK in the last 1–2 months, but due to changes in strategy I ended up leaving it, which became a big disadvantage. On top of that, English felt a bit tricky for me too.

I usually don’t prepare Reasoning and English separately, just rely on mocks. This time my attempts are fairly low (around 68, though I didn’t count exactly). Still, I believe there is some hope.

But instead of wasting time waiting for the answer key or cutoff news, I’ve already started focusing on Mains mocks and GK preparation—this time more seriously.

Since percentile-based normalization will apply this year, nobody can predict the exact cutoff. Every shift had its own difficulty, as reviews from you all and other sources suggest.

That’s why my suggestion is: don’t take a long break. Start with Mains mocks right away. It’s very hard to get back into momentum once you stop. Even if you don’t clear Pre this time, this preparation will give you a big edge for next year.
