Hello There!

Hope you're having a great start in 2025!


I felt that a post updating the current status of this channel was needed. And so here it is.

I had plans to deliver more videos in between this and the last community post, but there were personal priorities that took/and still are taking my time and attention.


For now, they will take a bit more time than usual to come out.


Does this mean that I will no longer keep making videos for this channel?

Is The Mammal Man going on hiatus?

What about FF7 Remake's chapters 1 & 2 reviews? Are they done? Off the table?

- NO
I will keep working on them, whenever I can. Easy does it. Slow and steady.

I'm actually planning to release 2 videos at the same time (there's a theme to it, as you will see in the future). This was even planned before the Remake chapters review, but I didn't manage to finish them in time.

If there is some Remake part 3 announcement (probably the title reveal) I'll will most likely talk about it.

My apologies, if you were hoping for more fast releases. I'll will try to deliver them as fast as possible.

Well... We're a little bit over it now.

Because reaching it, was all thanks to you 👊

And that's not the only thing to be grateful for. Since by you also watching, interacting and being here. The channel was able to get this far.

For that and everything else, you have my thanks 🙏




For those who are still reading this, I would like to inform you that I'm planning on doing an in depth Remake chapter review series in the future. (and if it's well received, I'll later do one about Rebirth as well)
This idea came from a suggestion made by @S.V-22 sometime ago in the comments. (thanks again for the suggestion)

The purpose of this would be to cover the 1st & 2nd game's main story (with maybe a few mentions about a few side quests, if I feel that it's important for the main plot, world building or even character development) while point out the details that are "hidden" in plain sight and what they represent or foreshadow for the future of the story.
Also as we wait for FF7 part 3 to release, we could get closer to understand how the story of this trilogy will wrap up.
Of course, that's only if you are interested in hearing me talking about this.
I'll do a demo for the intro, chapter 1 & 2 of Remake. After that we'll see how it goes.


There is an alternative or possible addition that we can make... A small scale review.
It will be very short and very sweet. The downside (or upside, depending how you look at it) being that there won't be a lot of room for explanations. Of any kind, I'm afraid.

The Mammal Man

Thank you!

Almost a year later when this channel was at 64 subscribers, something that had took basically 2.5 years to get to, has now grown throughout this year more than 4 times. Which, for a lot of people is nothing special or even anything that deserves to be joyful about.

However... I disagree!

And I want to take the time to thank, every, single, one, of YOU 🫵 who watched, interacted and above all subscribed to this channel.
It means so much that you clicked on my videos, despite all the other millions out there.
Of course most of the recent growth was due to Final Fantasy 7. That includes the OG FF7, Crisis Core, the movie Advent Children, Remake and Rebirth as well. Except Dirge of Cerberus. We don't talk about that on this channel...

Not everyone can afford a top end pc nor the best software to edit videos, or find the time and have the energy to make them at the end of the day. Despite that I'll still give it my best.

Hopefully in the future this channel will grow in a way that allows me to better dedicate myself to it, and deliver more for you!

I don't know how many will read and even notice this community post, but whoever does... Thank you for being here.
