A channel for uploading great albums from years gone by. I'll primarily be uploading jazz, though if you have any requests or any questions about an album I upload, just ask; I try to reply to as many questions as possible.
This week has been a bad one for music, first Wayne Shorter and now Carlos Garnett, too many greats are leaving us all at once.
But I prefer to look at it as a good week to remember and listen to their music, they left behind an unmistakable and lasting legacy and I hope both of them may now rest peacefully having accomplished so much in this one life.
I remember hearing the opening vocal harmony on Carlos Garnett's soaring debut album 'Black Love' for the first time, how striking it was, one of the earliest albums I owned on record. And what can I possibly say about Wayne Shorter that hasn't already been said in recent days by people far more qualified than me. I've lost count of how many times I've played and performed footprints over the past few years, a song that almost demands to be played completely different every time. I'll leave it at that and let their music do the talking.
Safe travels to Wayne Shorter and Carlos Garnett, they've left their corporeal bodies behind but their music is eternal.
It's been a while since I've made one of these posts (though they're usually about copyright strikes, which I'm glad to say this one isn't).
First off, the poll on here. I've finally got the equipment I need for recording, and would like people's thoughts on whether I should upload original music/covers here or on another channel dedicated specifically for that content.
Secondly, apologies for the inconsistent upload schedule, my personal life has been busy, but I'm hoping to get back to spreading good music more consistently again for this small yet dedicated community (the youtube analytics tell me most of the listeners here come back very frequently which is great).
Thanks for reading, voting on the poll, and patience with the inconsistent uploads. Spread peace and music wherever you go.
I've had to temporarily remove all uploaded albums as the channel is on two copyright strikes. The strikes will be removed on March 31, and everything will return then.
Hope everyone's doing alright and I'll be back on the 31st (if you've got something you want uploading as the first video back, let me know here).
Highly recommend checking out the debut album by drummer and guitarist Maoki Yamamoto, In My World. Great jazz fusion with such greats as Masato Honda and Hiroyuki Noritake in the line-up.
Just to let everyone know, the upload schedule might slow down as I started at university last week, but I'll still be around in comments so keep sending requests for uploads or if you want me to send download files for albums I've already uploaded.

Really interesting film and soundtrack from The Square, but you wouldn't have guessed that just by listening to it. Definitely worth checking out.

Just listened to T-Square's latest album, 'Fly! Fly! Fly!', and I have only one question...
HOW ARE THEY STILL THIS GOOD!?
