I’ve noticed that in recent years songs have become shorter and shorter. The average song duration used to be 3-4 minutes, then it dropped to 3 minutes and now there are many songs between 2-3 minutes. One of the biggest reasons for this development is social media, which has caused our attention span to become incredibly short.

Because of this, I recently wanted to become a front runner in this matter and take a leading role, so now my aim is to make only less than 1 minute long songs this year. I think it’s a great opportunity to make my music stand out more. Next year my goal is to make only 10 seconds long songs and in the near future I’m also exploring the opportunity to make songs with negative duration.

Basically negative duration means that instead of you listening to the music, the songs are listening to you. I think this will be a fun new way to experience music because it eliminates the need to actually listen to music, so you're effectively saving time and you are free to listen to anything else than music. This also means that instead of you paying money to the music streaming services, they are paying you because the songs are listening to you so it generates free revenue.
