HotWax are a Hastings-via-Brighton trio – Tallulah Sim-Savage (vocals/guitar), Lola Sam (bass), and Alfie Sayers (drums) – set on experiencing life intensely. In just two years, they’ve toured over 150 shows, including dates with Royal Blood, Frank Carter, and appearances at Reading & Leeds and All Points East. Their debut album Hot Shock (out March 7 via Marathon Artists) delivers adrenaline-charged anthems about facing fears and leaping into the future. Recorded live at London’s RAK Studios, the album captures the dizzying energy of a HotWax show. Produced by Catherine Marks (Boygenius, Wolf Alice) and Steph Marziano (Hayley Williams), with additional recording by Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) in Joshua Tree, California. These songs, loud and raw, are underpinned by vulnerability, positioning HotWax as the UK's next big rock act.

We wrote this song and recorded it early last year with Steph Marziano it didn’t quite fit the album but we always wanted to release it into the world!! It’s about the feeling of exhilaration and slight nervousness, but the rushing feeling you get when you follow your gut feeling and try and live your life to the fullest you can with someone who has your back when things and the world can feel so scary and uncertain.
