MesoGears
We are a community-created channel to help players understand the overwhelming and wide array of features in MapleStory. We strive to give the most accurate information possible to the best of our abilities. The guides featured on the channel will be focused on the global version of MapleStory (GMS), but several tips and points may cross over to other versions.
MesoGears was created by Amyte to create a brand for high quality guides that are concise, complete, and comprehensive, so that players of all levels may enjoy and learn from them as much as possible.

I'm sorry to say that I am officially going to be letting go of the MesoGears project. This project was really fun, and I want to thank everyone who has helped out with the project since the beginning, but I think I'm putting my foot down and just calling it quits here. I'm very proud of the work we've done, and I hope the guides we have made will continue to help new maplers along the way.
I've completed a lot of self-projects I started years ago this year, and I was really hoping that I could finish just one more guide before letting the channel go, but I think I've learnt from this year is that part of completing my bucket list (if you can call it that) is also learning about what's really important to keep on the list, and what isn't as important that I can drop, and unfortunately this channel isn't as important to me as I thought it was going to be. (Evidently, since I don't have uploads often, but hey. You try getting a team of people to help you with a professional looking video guide for a game that frequently changes its rules and refuses to cooperate with helping you understand its mechanics)
The discord server will still be up and you can still ask for help and such from me or other Maplers, but there will be no more video guide uploads. In place of the video guide we were currently working on, I will be posting the script/written version of guide that we were currently in there.

Hello everyone again! We just want to give another update on the channel: we are trying to create some new guides covering different areas of the game. We did not intend on doing these guides until the others were done, but due to the situation at Korea with KMS we are hoping this will be the best plan for this channel.
We want to pump out all the guides necessary for players to succeed well in the game, and we appreciate your patience with us! Thank you again!

Hi everyone! We’ve been pretty quiet because we’re working on guides whenever we can, but with all the recent news with KMS we’re deciding to hold off from finalizing any guides for the time being. We’re still writing guides though, so expect them to come eventually.

As much as we try to future-proof our guides, it’s inevitable that changes in the game will make some parts of our guides outdated. As we pride ourselves in the quality and accuracy of our guides, we will be making edits in the video description of our server guide as well as in the comments. We are happy for the Reboot playerbase to finally have the full roster of characters available for them, and hope they enjoy the class!

Hi everyone, sorry for the dead noise! I'm occupied with personal things at the moment, and this project is falling behind (again). The least I can do is show how the progress is for the next guide that we plan to release, and it's still very far from being done. But we would like to show you the process of making a MesoGears video, so that you can understand the amount of work that is being done.
Our next guide, "Choosing a Server", is a VERY TOUCHY subject, so we want to make sure we get it as unbiased and factual as possible in order to make the best product we can. As some people may know, I'm also editing RTMD, which I'm almost caught up to, so I'll hopefully have more time, but not until after mid-March because I am preparing and practicing for a show in mid-March.
I'll still be working on this project whenever I have time, but until I get back, I won't be able to work on it as much. Hopefully you all understand, thank you for your patience and support as usual!
