Did You Know - just about a kilometre away from the famous Nanjangud temple, there is a Parashurama temple & at the temple, on the sides people sell Jaggery and Rock Salt - it is believed by the people here that who ever submits prayer to Parashurama Idol and leaves the Jaggery with rock salt into Kapila river is sure of getting cured of any ailment problems.
