we had an emergency vet scare this past weekend. as some of you know i was going to go to the triangle farms horse show this weekend, but on the way there groot was very anxious and wobbly, and shaking his head. about 15 minutes after they left my barn he collapsed in the trailer, and he didnt want to get up, he was also soaked with sweat. they eventually got him up then took him straight to the emergency vet. he got some tests done and a general exam and they didnt see anything. we are pretty sure that hes just too big for the trailer and couldnt stand normally, and without a horse next to him it couldve made the balance off. he came home on Saturday in a spacey box trailer and was completely calm, and wasnt sweaty or shaking his head at all (we think the head shaking was bc of stress). so glad hes okay. from now on he will only travel in a box trailer.

grooty is at tryon and got a training ride today, he was perfect! i go up tomorrow and will show him if he continues doing well, but it depends on him day by day!
