My "Twilight" listening party has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Saturday), because I ran into technical problems. It turned out that Youtube has stopped supporting the streaming hardware I use. But I took a software encoder into use and now everything seems to be working alright! See you tomorrow!

Kebu – Space for Synth: A new documentary reveals what a musician's career really requires.


What does building a music career really mean these days? For many artists, it's not just about composing and performing, but practically doing everything yourself.


The new documentary Kebu – Space for Synth offers a unique glimpse into the everyday life and work of Finnish synthesizer musician Kebu (Sebastian Teir). Kebu is known for his melodic synth music and energetic live performances. He has built an international audience and received prestigious awards from abroad. However, behind the spotlight, the artist's life is anything but a party: it means booking concerts, organizing logistics, managing technical details and constantly struggling with various practical challenges.


The documentary also follows Kebu's European tour in 2024, offering viewers both unique live recordings and candid moments from behind the scenes. The film shows how much dedication and perseverance are needed to create the magic that the audience sees on stage.


Most of the documentary is in Kebu’s native tongue – an Ostrobothnian Swedish dialect of Finland-Swedish, spoken in a small region on the west-coast of Finland.


Kebu – Space for Synth is directed and produced by Sara Långvik. Originally from Turku, Långvik is a Finnish-Swedish media producer and sound engineer with extensive experience in music production, TV broadcasting and studio management. The documentary is her first independent directorial work aimed at international distribution.


Kebu – Space for Synth premieres on September 1st and can be streamed on Yle Areena around the world with subtitles in English, Swedish and Finnish: areena.yle.fi/1-74148397

Good news! Thanks to House of HR there will be a second concert in Amsterdam! And this time it is for a seated audience in the large hall in Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ! But it comes up already next month - on the 19th of March! So please spread the word. 🙏

My concerts in Paris and Berlin have now been confirmed, and a new city on my tour dates is Milan! Sadly, Stuttgart was not confirmed and I had to cancel it, but I can recommend Düsseldorf or Munich to those that were considering coming to my Stuttgart concert. Only unconfirmed concert left in my list is Krakow. I hope to have that verified in the next few weeks. Tickets are already available to most of my concerts. Sadly my Gothenburg concert has been cancelled. 😞 The venue had a double booking on that date. For those that were planning on attending it, I can recommend my Helsingborg concert instead:

These are all the concerts I will have in 2024, so you don't need to wait for any more dates - you can safely go ahead and buy tickets. Not all ticket links are up yet, but they will be uploaded as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to verify all dates yet, so the dates in grey color may not happen. In any case, I will update my web page as soon as I get more information.
