This channel is for entrepreneurs, leaders, and high achievers. If you're aiming to be average, this probably isn’t for you.
I make these videos to share the lessons I’ve learned the hard way while building one of the fastest-growing companies in America — and taking selfpublishing.com from zero to over $75M in revenue over the last 10 years.
The thing that started it all = a book. I believe a book is the highest form of leverage you can create.
That's why I wrote a book all about it ➡️ publishedbook.com
Oh, and I did all of this after dropping out of college.
That's why I'm simplifying all of it.
Scaling isn’t sexy. It’s repetitive. And that’s the point.
Hope y'all enjoy 🙌

Most people think success comes from the right strategy or idea.
But the truth?
It comes from the right mentors.
When I was starting out, I had to ask myself tough questions:
👉 Am I surrounding myself with people who challenge me or people who drain me?
👉 Am I learning from proven winners or settling for advice from people who’ve never done what I want to do?
That shift changed everything.
Once I found the right mentors, my confidence grew, my standards rose, and my results skyrocketed.
It’s the single biggest reason I went from a broke college dropout…
…to building a business that’s now done over $10M+ in sales.
If you’re serious about growth, this video will help you rethink who you’re learning from and who you’re spending your time with.
Who’s the most impactful mentor in your life right now? Drop their name below.

Biggest thing I’ve learned: belief comes before results.
When you’re chasing a vision, you have to believe before the scoreboard shows proof.
Curious, which one do you struggle with most right now? 👇

In person podcast tour is officially underway!
We’re starting with podcasts in Austin and then widening the net from there.
It’s fun trying a new medium.
I’ve done hundreds of podcasts over the years, but probably less than a dozen in person.
They’re so much more fun and engaging…and they make for way better clips.
Shout out to Neville Medhora for being a hilarious and awesome interviewer.
Full circle moment = his copywriting course was one of the first courses I ever bought on the internet.
Know any other in person podcasts I should be on?
This is too much fun.

I grew up in a black church, so today felt like being back at home.
It was my second time ever speaking at a church.
The audience is so much more responsive and engaging than a normal conference.
It makes things way more fun as a speaker.
Most people in an audience don’t realize how much speakers feed off your energy, your smiles, and participation.
It makes a massive difference.
It’s fuel.
Shout out to Ryan Pineda for creating an amazing conference and for having me come speak!

We had 4 new people start this week.
It's pretty crazy how fast the Austin office is growing!
My goal is to take over the city and become:
1. The fastest growing company in the city
2. THE place that everyone knows about and uses to publish their book
3. The best place to work
We have a long way to go, but the pieces are starting to come together.
A lot of people doubted it, said it's not possible, or gave up along the way.
It only added fuel to my fire.
If you have a vision for anything big, this is the natural cycle that always happens.
Consider this post my encouragement to you to be bold enough to dream big AND bold enough to not give up when things get tough.
If you can do those two things, exponential success is inevitable.

Italy reminded me of something most entrepreneurs forget…
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to enjoy what you’ve built.
You’re allowed to go off the grid without guilt.
This week, I walked through ancient ruins, watched sunsets and ate pasta like it was my job
And I didn’t check Slack once.
Here’s the wild part: nothing burned down.
The team crushed it.
The business grew.
Life went on.
We build systems so the business can run without us…
But sometimes we forget to let it.
This trip was a reset. A lesson. A gift.
Highly recommend.
