NO REINSTATEMENT

“In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.” (1 Kings 16: 34)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

When the walls of Jericho fell, Joshua proclaimed that anyone who would arise to rebuild the walls of Jericho would do the foundation with his first son, and build the gates with his last son (see Joshua 6 vs. 26). Several generations later, Jezebel came into the life of Ahab, and the walls of Jericho were rebuilt by Hiel the Bethelite. What heaven had destroyed to empower the children of Israel, was rebuilt when Jezebel showed up. Evil was reinstated.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every power of hell that wants to reinstate the battles you already fought and won in time past, I decree, it will not prevail. No wall of Jericho will be reinstated. No satanic patterns will be reinstated. No sickness you already conquered will be reinstated. No old battles will be reinstated. No old window of negativity will be reinstated. No systems of hell will be reinstated. There will be no evil reinstatement.

Jezebel happened in the life of Ahab, and what no one could do for several generations, became possible. Jezebel was the satanic enabler that gave negativity a chance for a comeback. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic enabler that wants to make it easy for negativity to be reinstated, I decree, they go down by fire. I command every satanic enabler to go down. I command every satanic enabler to suffer shipwreck.

It took an angel of the Lord with a drawn sword to show up by Jericho (see Joshua 5 vs. 13-15), for the wall of Jericho to go down; heaven was invested in the downfall of the walls of Jericho; but several years after, Jezebel happened and the walls of Jericho happened again. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your walls of Jericho will not happen again. Your previous victories will not be reversed. Your walls of Jericho will not be reinstated.

Welcome to that season where no negativity will be reinstated in your life. Welcome to that season where your victories will not be reversed. Welcome to that season where affliction will not arise a second time.

Nahum 1: 9 says: “What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.”

WALK IN OBEDIENCE

“And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.” (Mark 3: 5)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus instructed the man with the withered hand to stretch forth his hand. That hand was paralyzed and in need of healing, and Jesus commanded that it be stretched forth. Jesus commanded the man to do what he could not do before with that hand. He instructed the man to take an act of faith concerning the same hand that had been paralyzed. The healing of that man was locked in an instruction.

Friend, your new season is locked in an instruction from God that you need to obey. You need to take acts of faith that will unlock the doors of the new. As you seek the hand of God to be stretched in your direction, it is important that you find out what God will have you do so that His mighty works can be made manifest in your life. El Roi has instructions for you to obey. There are acts of faith for you to embark on.

Notice that the man with the withered hand acted in line with the instructions of Jesus, and the hand was restored as the other hand. He took an act of faith, and the result was immediate. As you walk in obedience to divine instructions this year, there will be results in your favour. As you stretch your faith, there will be results. As you do what God will have you do, what you lost will be restored in full.

Pay attention to whatever instruction God is giving you this year. Pay attention to the direction He wants you to take. Pay attention to the leading of the Spirit of God. Pay attention to the acts of faith that God is inspiring you to take. Pay attention to the obedience that God expects from you this year. It may be convenient to pray for certain things to happen, but you just might need to activate the new with your obedience and faith.

Welcome to that season where your obedience will trigger the mighty works of God in your life. Welcome to that season where your act of faith will unveil your new season.

Isaiah 1: 19 says: “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”

DO WHAT IS RIGHT

“Then he asked, "On the Sabbath should we do good deeds or evil deeds? Should we save someone's life or destroy it?" But no one said a word.” (Mark 3: 4 CEV)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus asked if it was lawful to do good or do evil on the Sabbath day. According to Jesus, the Sabbath day presented two options, namely: doing good and doing evil. Jesus asked if it was best to do good deeds or evil deeds on the Sabbath. By Jesus’ question, it could easily be seen that doing good and doing evil were options that could be explored on the Sabbath. Good and evil deeds were options.

Friend, as you navigate through 2026, you will meet opportunities that present you with the option of doing good or doing evil. You will meet opportunities that present the option of doing what is right or doing what is wrong. You will face the option of saving or destroying. You will face the option of acting positively or negatively. You will face the option of doing what is proper or doing what is not proper. You will face options of good and bad.

When life presents you with the option of doing either good or bad, choose to do good. Choose to save life rather than destroy it. Choose to act positively instead of negatively. Choose to act in faith rather than doubt. Choose to do good rather than evil. Choose to do what will benefit others rather than what will work against others. Be intentional to do good when the opportunity arises. Be intentional to do what is right.

The people who were watching Jesus to see what He would do, were hoping that He would use the Sabbath as an excuse not to do good for the man with the withered hand. They wanted an excuse to suffice for not doing what is right. There will be times when there would even be good excuses not to do what is right, but be intentional to still do right despite the excuses. Do what is right even when there are reasons to do wrong.

Don’t be counted amongst those who choose to do wrong when they could have done right. Don’t be counted amongst those who choose evil instead of good.

Galatians 6: 9 says: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

ATTACKERS OF HELP

“And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.” (Mark 3: 2)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the men watched Jesus to see if He would heal the man with a withered hand, so that they could accuse Him. They were not even trying to get at the man with a withered hand; they were trying to get at the person who wanted to help him. Their attack was against the person who dared to help the man with a withered hand. They came against his helper. They came against his open door.

Friend, every conspiracy against your helpers, I command it to scatter by fire. Every plot against your helpers, I command it to come to nothing. Every plot to stop your helpers in their tracks, I command it to end by fire. Every plot of the enemy to hinder or attack your helpers so they won’t be able to help you, I command that plot to scatter by fire. Every trap the enemy is setting for your helpers, they will not fall into it at all.

The men in our Focal Scripture had no issues with the man that was to be helped, but they had issues with Jesus who was to bring the help. If they succeeded in getting at Jesus, maybe they would have stopped the miracle that was to come the way of the man with the withered hand. Be intentional to cover your helpers, clients, supporters, and everyone you need, with prayers. Any attack against them might as well affect you.

Raise a prayer cover over everyone and everything that is important to you. Raise a prayer cover for your family members; raise a prayer cover for your business; raise a prayer cover for your finances; raise a prayer cover for your spouse; raise a prayer cover for the works of your hands; raise a prayer cover over the major, profitable relationships that matter to you.

This is that season when you must not take the attacks against your helpers lightly. If they are positioned to help you, then cover them with prayers. Don’t let the enemy attack people and systems that matter to you.

Psalm 3: 2-3 says: “2. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. 3. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”

GROW UP

“God blessed Ishmael, and as the boy grew older, he became an expert with his bow and arrows. He lived in the Paran Desert, and his mother chose an Egyptian woman for him to marry.” (Genesis 21: 20 CEV)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how God blessed Ishmael, and he grew older to become an expert with his bows and arrows. In the sequence of the narrative, a blessing came upon Ishmael, and he grew. Ishmael did not begin and end with just being blessed. He also grew. He moved from blessing to growth. He moved from receiving from God, to becoming a better version of himself. He added growth to his blessings.

Friend, in 2026, add growth to your blessings. As God blesses you with opportunities, be intentional to grow up in all your ways. Go beyond the blessings of the Lord on your life, and add personal growth to yourself. Be intentional to grow your skills; grow your speech; grow your capacity; grow your intellect; grow your emotional intelligence; grow your understanding; grow your character; grow in wisdom, stature and favour.

The blessings of the Lord on Ishmael did not mean that he no longer needed to grow. The fact that God blessed Ishmael did not mean that he didn’t need skills. As God blesses you, you owe yourself a responsibility of growing and becoming an expert in the works of your hands. As God blesses and raises you, you have a responsibility to intentionally become a better person. Be intentional to grow up. Be intentional to raise your game.

The blessings of the Lord upon the life of Ishmael found expression in the works of his hands as he became an expert in the use of his bow and arrows. Do not limit the blessings of God on your life to what He is able to give you physically. Also allow the blessings of God on you to empower you to do more than you are currently doing. Let the blessings of God cause you to do more and be more. Let the blessings of God spur you to grow.

Don’t let your blessings from God deter you from growing in every sphere of life. This is that year where you should consider and intentionally work towards being an expert with your ‘bows’ and ‘arrows’.

Luke 2: 52 says: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

EYES THAT SEE

“And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.” (Genesis 21: 19)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, God opened the eyes of Hagar and she saw a well of water. God opened her eyes, and she saw what heaven already kept for her benefit. Notice that God did not just create a well for Hagar; He simply opened her eyes to see the well that was already provided. So, could it be that whilst Hagar was crying for water, there was already a well which she could not see? Divine provision was available, but she couldn’t see it.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2026, your eyes shall be open to see the divine provision that God already made available for you. Your eyes will be open to see the opportunities that heaven already provided for you. Your eyes will be open to see the doors and gates that have been opened before you. Your eyes will be open to see the help and helpers that God has positioned around you. Your eyes will be open to see your portion.

Notice that Hagar was not blind. She journeyed into the wilderness because she could see, but she could not see what heaven had for her until her eyes were opened by God. So, even when her human eyes were open, there were things she could not see until God opened her eyes to see. I pray for you: may your eyes be open to see what others cannot see. May your eyes be open to see the provisions and divine allocations for you.

Every veil that shuts the eyes of men and prevents them from seeing what God has provided for them, I decree, in 2026 and beyond, it will not cover your eyes. Your vision will not be covered. Your eyes will be open to see what God wants you to see. Your eyes will be open to see before others see. Your eyes will be open to see what those around you have not seen. Your eyes will be open to see the wells that are meant for you.

It is one thing for heaven to create a well beside you, and it is yet another thing for you to see what has been provided. I decree, your eyes shall be open to see. Your eyes will not be covered.

Proverbs 20: 12 says: “The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.”

In our Focal Scripture, the Angel of the Lord proclaimed the blessings of multiplication upon the seed of Hagar. Multiplication was the lot of Hagar’s unborn child. Hagar was the one who was seen by El Roi, but her encounter didn’t only birth blessings for her; it also birthed blessings for her offspring. She encountered El Roi, and that encounter activated the blessing of exceeding multiplication on her next generation.

Friend, did you know that your personal encounters with El Roi could activate blessings on your next generation? Did you know that your fellowship with God today could connect your next generation to their increase? Did you know that your intimacy with El Roi could make a difference in the lives of your children long after you are gone? Did you know that your encounters have the capacity to birth transgenerational blessings?

In 2026, every encounter you have with God will unleash blessings on your next generation. Your prayers will position your next generation with blessings they did not pray for. Your intimacy with God will open new chapters of grace and mercy for your next generation. Your encounters with El Roi will open new doors for your next generation. Your divine encounters will cause your children to enjoy what they didn’t labour for.

In 2026, your prayers will trigger a supply of the Spirit in the lives of your offspring. As you chase after God and get more intimate with El Roi, you will secure blessings that money cannot buy, for your next generation. Every effort you put into your walk with God, and every consecration and dedication you put in as you serve God, will unlock major doors and gates for your next generation. Today’s encounter will secure tomorrow.

Welcome to that season where your encounters with God will birth major blessings for your next generation. Welcome to your season of encounters that will smoothen the pathway for your next generation.

NO DRYNESS

“And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.” (Genesis 16: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the Angel of the Lord found Hagar by a fountain of water in the wilderness. Hagar was in the wilderness. She was in a place of dryness. As she fled from Sarah her mistress, she fled into dryness. She journeyed into a dry place. Notice that in this dry place, there was a fountain of water. She found herself in a dry place, but there was a fountain that produced water despite being a dry place.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2026, you will not dwell in dryness. You will not be dry spiritually. You will not be dry physically. Your finances will not be dry. Your career will not be dry. Your business will not be dry. Your ministry will not be dry. Your environment will not be dry. Your destiny mandate will not be dry. The works of your hands will not be dry. Your family will not be dry. Nothing that concerns you will be dry.

In the wilderness where Hagar found herself, there was a fountain of water. It may have been dry from a distance, but there was water for Hagar. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2026, you will have water when others say it is a wilderness. You will have sustenance when others have nothing. You will walk in abundance when others speak of lack. You will have a fountain that produces water when others are in dryness.

In the places where you dwelt in dryness in 2025, you will have water in 2026. In the places where you suffered lack in 2025, you will enjoy abundance in 2026. For every emptiness in 2025, you will enjoy abundance in 2026. Where you had no results in 2025, you will witness an avalanche of amazing results in 2026. Even if the economy seems dry, you will still have a fountain of water, producing for you what others lack.

Welcome to your new season of no dryness. Welcome to that season where you will have a fountain.

Isaiah 58: 11 says: “And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”
