My name is Amie and I make music. If you knew me as Ace, there's a video out there about the details, but to keep it simple: I'm trans, I changed my name, I still like to make music with synths. All music released as Ace Waters will stay out there, under the name Ace Waters, and all future music will be released under Amie.
I like to play around with synths and I am a pretty big nerd, so a lot of what I do is video game or geek culture related. I also write original music including commissions and soundtracks. Hey everyone! Sorry things have been so quiet. I’ve been dealing with some difficult personal stuff and some really heavy mental health struggles and have been just trying to take care of myself. There’s a new cover that I am working on (although it’s been a very slow process due to everything going on in my life right now) but it’s there and it will come out as soon as I have the capacity to finish it up.
In the meantime, I just wanted to send out a quick message to remind y’all that today is Bandcamp Friday! If you haven’t picked up my most recent album, kyrie, or just want to grab some other music in support, today is the best day to do so. Show some love to the independent musicians in your life!

My newest cover is tracked and filmed. The footage is graded and the song is mixed. Now I just have a dozen or so hours of editing ahead of me.

If you don't follow me on instagram/threads or support on patreon, you might have missed that things have been quite chaotic in my house right now. We had a pretty major electrical crisis that a big source of the delay on this new video. But, things are finally settling down a bit and I was able to finish up tracking and start figuring out how to process my new camera's footage. Came up with a new workflow on grading and downscaling the raw 6k footage to a more workable 4k prores and I wanted to share a couple of stills just to show off how good its looking! Cant wait to share the new video with you all! Should be out by friday!
