Happy birthday to the optimistic, dolphin loving, canned pineapple enjoyer, Meguru Bachira:3.

I'm currently making this at 1:35am; I suddenly woke up and realized I didn't make Bachira an appreciation essay and considering the fact he's literally one of my favorites across anime and manga universes, I think he deserves one, am I right?

So, let's start from the very beginning…

I first discovered Blue Lock while scrolling through social media and seeing him in one of my classmates profile pictures—it was love at first sight to be blunt. But despite that, I didn't start watching the anime…yet. My brother tried to convince me to watch it for a whole YEAR, but in the past years, I wasn't really that fond of anime yet; to be honest I've changed a lot physically and mentally (and emotionally) from the me a year or three ago. Anyways, in 2023, I saw that same classmate as before with Sae Itoshi in their notebook and having not watched the anime yet, I didn't wanna seem like a know it all even though I did know a thing or two about Blue Lock at this point. After building up enough courage, I decided to just start acting like I already watched the anime; an ass move, I know but if I'm gonna be honest, it's the thing that pushed me to start falling in love with anime. Continuing on, I told them I hadn't finished the anime yet and was gonna watch it over again, and they were so excited that I started watching Blue Lock as soon as I got home. And oh, that's where it all started going… up. I fell in love with Bachira for the second time in the very first episode, it was so silly but he just seemed to stand out to me, from the scene when he kicked Igaguri, to when he was naked after showering, everything about him made me laugh and enjoy just seeing him on screen.

After a few episodes, I reached his backstory, I was legit going wild. It's not because he looked cute—which he did, but because of the fact despite everything he went through: the isolation of people thinking he's weird, only having his mom around and being bullied all throughout his childhood never stopped him from being so friendly and optimistic towards other people and I love that kind of personality.

In the beginning, I was just a casual fan, until 2025 hit and, to be honest, I feel like this is my best version of myself, and also the version that is literally obsessing over Bachira. Enough with the formalities… I LOVE Bachira, I love his hair, his eyes, his smile, his silly expressions, I love his voice, hell, I love that he approaches the most unfriendly players with no issue. I think my attachment towards him stems from the fact I'm quite the opposite: I'm shy, anxious, quiet and come off as unfriendly because of my resting bitch face—even when I want people to approach and befriend me.

Whenever I see Bachira edits, I start kicking my feet, anytime crushes are tossed around I jokingly say Bachira. I bring Bachira up in any topic just to make people laugh but yeah, in complete honesty I just love Bachira so much. I made this YouTube channel for my love for Bungo Stray Dogs but I just sneak in Blue Lock posts every now and then so I have an excuse to post Bachira, hehe.

All in all, I could go on and on about Bachira but I still have an edit to make and I don't remember if YouTube has a text limit. But before I conclude this, I just want to say; I love Bachira so much, I love everything about him and I'm so attached to him, I love talking about him. I'm 100% sure it's because I'm pretty lonely and Bachira is just one of the things that make me smile on a daily basis and becaus, again, he's my polar opposite.

Anyways, yeah, hope I don't have any grammatical errors, lmao. Happy birthday my king Bachira, even if you're not real you're one of the fictional characters I'm so, so attached to :3.
