Sheffield United decided to part ways with Jamie Vardy after his first appearance, as they were not convinced of his potential. Heartbroken, Vardy opted to leave football altogether and work in a coal mine to earn a living. Eight months later, Stockbridge, a club competing in the eighth tier—yes, the eighth tier—signed him. Incredibly, he played for them on a free transfer for three years. During the 2011 season, Vardy showed his talent in the fifth tier, playing for the amateur side and scoring an impressive 37 goals in just 23 games. At the age of 26, he moved to Leicester City at the start of the 2013 season. Just three seasons later, Vardy had established himself, helping Leicester City to the Premier League title in an unforgettable campaign following their promotion to the top flight. He shared the top scorer award with Harry Kane, achieving the feat with limited resources, in what is often referred to as one of the greatest fairytales in modern football. At 37, Vardy returned to the Premier League with Leicester, scoring a goal against Tottenham that created the iconic image of him pointing at the Premier League crest to get Spurs fans excited. Yesterday, he announced that he was leaving Leicester as the "greatest player of all time" which you can't argue with after all he has done for the club. There is only one Jamie Vardy.

Did you know? When Thomas Tuchel joined PSG in 2018, he moved into a beautiful home with his family. To help run their home, he and his wife hired a Filipina maid, who worked tirelessly and remained extremely professional and dedicated to the Tuchel family. Over time, they bonded, and one day, Tuchel and his wife discovered the reason behind the maid’s hard work—she was saving up to pay for a life-saving heart operation for one of her children. Without hesitation, Tuchel decided to cover the entire cost of the operation. Thankfully, the operation was successful, giving the child a new lease on life. However, the story doesn’t end there. As Tuchel faced increasing pressure and the prospect of being sacked by PSG, he asked the maid about her biggest dream. The maid shared her desire to return to the Philippines, build a house, and spend her days with the family she missed so much. After Tuchel was eventually sacked by PSG and before he moved on to manage Chelsea, he made sure to fulfill the maid’s dream. He gifted her a stunning villa in the Philippines, where the maid now lives happily with her family. A truly extraordinary action from Thomas Tuchel. What an extraordinary person!

Jose Mourinho: "What Chiellini did to Saka is the art of defending" "What Chiellini did to Saka shows everything, Saka tried to pass Chiellini but Chiellini said 'okay kid, the ball is over but you can't'" "I say it again Chiellini is a top defender, he and Bonucci should go to university and teach 'how to be a strong CB'"

Wesley Sneijder: "The worst moment of my career was related to my departure from Real Madrid. I felt humiliated because I went to the training ground, and when I arrived, I found my locker empty and all my things neatly arranged. I went to speak to the president. He didn't give me much time and just said that I no longer fit into their plans and that they wanted to win the Champions League. Before leaving his office, I said: 'Sir, know that wherever I go, I will play to win.' Two days later, Mourinho called me. I think he got my number through Chivu, because I didn't know him personally before. He said: 'Wesley, I know your situation there is difficult. Come to Inter and together we will win everything.' With Mourinho, it was love at first sight. He convinced me that I was one of the most important players in his team and that together we would win the Champions League. Maybe he said that to everyone, but believe me, one year with him felt like ten years with someone else. How did it end? You know... I won the Champions League at the Bernabéu. I put the trophy in front of my locker and said: 'I always keep my promises.' It was the best moment of my career."

THE SPECIAL ONE 🔥🔥🔥
