My top Tadc theories before ep 9 comes out:

1: The void IS the escape. The only reason no one’s made it out from it is because Caine just snatches them out before anything can happen because “He doesn’t know” What’s in/ beyond the void. So, since he’s gone and the circus is collapsing, maybe it will all disappear and the cast will be able to make it
Out through the void. (But ik that the ending won’t be predictable.)

2: Time is different in the circus compared to real time. So, some characters like Kinger, Ragatha, and maybe Gangle, THINK they’ve been there for years
But in reality, it hasn’t been more than a few weeks or days in the real world depending on how long they think they’ve been there. “But why wouldn’t they
Realize that” you might ask. Well, we also know now that Caine CAN mess with their minds. But, before Pomni ever got there, none of the cast had any idea
Of it because they thought he couldn’t. So, he made them think it’s been longer than it actually has to give them less hope of their escape.

3:All the cast did something they regret in their real life, whether it wasn’t that bad or it was really bad. But, conveniently, the headset kept appearing for them at the right time. Like advertisements saying “Wish you could go to a different world!?” “Wish you could escape the real world?!” And because they were in a time of regret, they thought it was a good idea to put it on because they didn’t think it’d capture them there. (This theory doesn’t have much to back it up anymore.
It made more sense for ep 7-8.)
