2023 🔥

In 2022, I became inconsistent and took a pretty long break to rest and recharge. My priorities were shifting and I felt that I needed to take a step back to properly reflect on the next life decisions I was going to make.

Now that it's a new year, I'm super excited to bounce back! 🚀

Small steps — I felt that it was appropriate to kickstart this new chapter with a DP refresh. The previous blue DP I had was taken back in 2017 when I was still 17 years old. Haha grabe talaga time flies. I didn't know so many things back then, but I think that the me from all those years ago would be pretty proud of the person I am today.

This year, I'm turning 23 and I've learned so these past few years and grown so much as a person, ESPECIALLY since I started uploading Youtube videos in 2020. I'm not sure what's in store in the next few months, but I'm excited to get back on the grind and find out.

Hoping that this year treats all of us well and that we make the most out of the opportunities presented to us. Meetup tayo this year? Haha I really want to meet more of you in person! Best of luck in smashing all your goals. Kaya natin ito LEZGAAWW HYPE WOOOHH!! 😤

Hi guys just a little life update ✨

Sorry for not uploading recently 😅 I’m in my last semester so I’m focused on grinding and hopefully finishing college in the next few months.

It’s crazy how I’m near the finish line. I had my gradpic shoot today so I felt a bit sentimental hehe. I started creating videos when I was in my 2nd year and all of a sudden here we are 🤯

To everyone else who’s also gradwaiting, WE CAN DO THIS KAYA NATIN ITO!! Let’s go batch 2022 haha one last push let’s get it done 😤🎓

Looking forward to uploading regularly and sharing more of my learnings after I close this chapter of my life.

You guys ask me a lot to talk about INSURANCE 🤔

To be honest, the main reason I haven't tackled insurance in my videos is because I haven't had any experience with it yet. I do know is that a lot of advisors are very pushy with selling VUL products, which I personally find outrageously expensive! (grabe ang fees omg) 😅

Elaine from ‪@InvestedLifestyle‬ made this video tacking the cons of VULs, which I believe more people should learn about. Above all else, I think it's super important to find an advisor who has your best interests in mind. It's one BIG RED FLAG if your advisor heavily focuses on the benefits and not tell you the cons just so they can make lots of sales on high-comission products 🙅‍♀️

Basta important to remember that insurance is for WEALTH-PROTECTION. It's not a form of investment. It's not an a vehicle to grow wealth, even though some might brand it as such 🤔

(Just a disclaimer: I'm not saying VUL's are bad. I just personally think that there are better options out there. I haven't experienced getting insurance yet, but I'll probably go the route of buying term insurances instead of a VUL.)
