The passion of aviation has been with me since childchood, and it began with RC modeling. I'm aerospace engineer and I'm currently developing as a constructor of UAVs. Flightory is my attempt to share this passion and present it from my perspective. The channel is mainly about RC modeling, but you will also find here content dedicated to "large" aviation and technical curiosities unknown to the wider public.

New Facebook Page
www.facebook.com/flightoryuav
Hi, we’d like to invite all of you and ask to leave a like and follow our new Facebook page. We had technical issues with the previous one that couldn’t be resolved, and it stopped working properly, so we had to create a new one. From now on, we’ll be active there.
Best regards!

Hi! After quite a long wait for the announced new design, the premiere has finally arrived. This is an FPV platform with potential for terrain mapping, featuring a 1600mm wingspan and a spacious fuselage capable of carrying a lot of equipment. It has been tested and optimized over the past few months. We’ve made several structural changes and refreshed the documentation style with more detailed content. The first flight video is now available on the channel, but that’s not all.

A build video is currently in the works, and the project will continue to evolve with additional modules, which we’ll be announcing gradually.

Projects Update
Additional STEP files with pre-built modifiers have been added to the Stallion, Talon 1400, and Super Stingray file packages. These include key parts like motor mounts and areas for threaded inserts. The files contain extra solid bodies that can be used as modifiers in your slicer, making it easy to adjust print settings—such as increasing wall count or infill—exactly where needed.
While it's possible to create modifiers manually, importing these ready-made STEP files saves time and ensures consistent results. Reinforcing the motor and insert areas is optional, but it adds strength where it matters most.
If you've already purchased these models, you can download the updated files using the same link from your original order confirmation or through your customer account. The links remain the same—only the contents have been updated.
User manual updates are also in progress and will include more detail on printing, materials, and a complete list of included STEP files. Other models in the collection will receive similar updates over time, in line with ongoing design improvements.
A new video will go live later today—a compact guide covering slicer modifiers, material tips, print settings, and equipment recommendations.
Stay tuned!

Hello, I haven’t been active on social media lately, but that just means I’ve been at work on new contents. While working on building the new Stallion V2 and preparing a build video as well as another video focused on electronics, I also put together some additional material that might be helpful for you—especially for beginners—when configuring aircraft.
As you know, many of my aircraft are based on the Speedybee F405 Wing flight controller, and I use ELRS as the RC link and Walksnail as the FPV system. Many people reach out for help with Ardupilot settings and request ready-to-use parameter files. However, using a pre-configured file can be challenging because not everyone uses the same settings or hardware, and sending such a file may not be very helpful for beginners. They often don’t know what’s been changed in the parameters, and if something doesn’t work, they won’t know where to start troubleshooting.
With that in mind, I decided to create a parameter file that can serve as a foundation for further tuning and adaptation to specific airplane configurations. The file includes a number of essential baseline parameters I frequently use. These cover default settings for this specific flight controller, as well as configurations for ELRS receivers, Walksnail FPV, and tested setups for features like auto takeoff, RTL, OSD layout, and more.
Importantly, I’ve also prepared a short PDF document that explains all the parameter changes made in the file and describes their functionality. The document includes links to Ardupilot’s knowledge base on specific topics for those who want to dive deeper into the details. I believe this package should be helpful, and if you decide to make changes, you’ll know exactly where to look and which parameters were modified compared to a stock Ardupilot setup.
The files are available for download on our Discord server on #free-files channel, where I periodically upload various free resources for you, all organized in one convenient place.
Let me know what you think,
Best regards!

Hello! After the recent video about building the Talon 1400, a few new people joined the channel, which makes us very happy. The most common comment under the video was a request to make a video about electronics. This is a broad topic, so I decided to prepare a series dedicated to electronics, especially for fixed-wing aircraft.
Tomorrow at 16:00 UTC, the first episode will premiere. It will serve as an introduction, where I’ll discuss the essential components needed to build a fixed-wing aircraft and explain all the key terms you'll encounter during the build.
The following episodes will cover equipment selection, soldering, mounting components in the plane, uploading firmware, and setting up parameters—essentially, the entire step-by-step process of handling electronics for a plane. See you tomorrow on the channel!
