A first-of-its-kind national initiative to identify and celebrate emerging digital creators who can showcase the unique culture, heritage, tourism and stories of India’s districts.

Pilot States/UTs: Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Chandigarh.

Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has invited proposals for Create in India Challenge (CIC) – Season 2 under #WAVES2027.

Industry bodies can submit challenge proposals across AI, AVGC-XR, Digital Media, Gaming, Films, Music, Broadcasting, and more by 31 July 2026.

Selected challenges may receive a one-time grant of up to ₹1 crore to foster innovation, upskilling, and creative talent.

Water conservation begins with collective action. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the #CatchTheRain campaign has grown into a nationwide people's movement, encouraging citizens to conserve every drop of rainwater and strengthen India's water security.

Launched with the simple message, "Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls," the campaign has inspired rainwater harvesting, rejuvenation of traditional water bodies, watershed development and groundwater recharge across the country. With active participation from communities, local bodies, youth, NGOs and government institutions, millions of water conservation structures have been created and restored, making water management a true Jan Andolan.
