N Scale Dystopia
Thanks to everyone who tuned into tonight's live stream! We scratchbuilt this ramshackle little scrap shack in N scale using cardboard, aluminum tape, masking tape, and whatever else we could sweep off the workbench. The entire structure came together in well under an hour.
Along the way we also shared the latest layout update, looked at the new DCC conversion, talked about some new tools that will be making an appearance in future projects, and, as always, had some great conversations.

Build the boring.
I visited Rapido Trains HQ and came home convinced that one of the most unremarkable buildings in Markham needed to be on my layout.
This started as a pile of scrap and somehow ended up as one of my favourite recent structures.

Thanks for popping by the live stream tonight! We took an old kit bash of mine, sponged on some cheap craft paint, and I think we wound up with a pretty reasonable result. We also experimented with some texture tape for n-scale roads... The jury's still out on that one...
