Not bad day out on the hard water. My nephew changed the game the moment he put on a small 5 of diomands yellow spoon. All day, the Walleye would swim right past other baits and zero in on this spoon. It was pretty remarkable to see a traditional old-school spoon produce such great numbers. Goes to show you. You can have a live scope all you want, but if you ain't doing it right, you're just not doing it right. They wanted it still with minimum twitching. Any erratic abnomal behaviour was just not producing. We marked over 30 Walleye today and likely 12 or so pike, hitting close to 40 inches.

It's been a tough bite with this cold snap, but it's with hard work and determination that good days like this are lived and remembered. Some think because I use Ai to help edit my videos that we didn't really catch these fish. Lol. Try a picture to video edit through YouTube edit features. The problem is that without the picture, you have no video. Using all features available through YouTube edit is smart. As you can see, it seems YouTube is pushing Ai edited videos.

Felt good to scratch the itch !!!! Only a few days to go, and we can walk the lakes with confidence. My next ice report is coming out tomorrow. Multiple locations, and yes, we even get some fishing in !!!! Tight lines...
