Oh, Youtube, what are you playing at with these claims?

I can't even understand the "content used", as according to these two copyright claims, these videos of mine from 2019/2020 are using content from two videos uploaded on August 26th 2025!:

Well, apart from the fact that they're not, even more stupidly, you don't even give me links to the videos so I can compare your minute thought processes. I just get this hogwash:

How can I tell what videos these are meant to be when I can't even read it? And you claim to CHECK these things before sending them out?

Well, I managed to find them:

- Mine's a no-commentary video uploaded August 23rd 2020, and the claimant actually uploaded his commentary on Sept 9th 2020. AFTER MINE!

Second video: 2ماي فريند بيدرو

I uploaded mine on June 20th 2019, and his video is uploaded on March 11th 2020.

You say you check these claims to make sure they're not fraudulent? Clearly not!!!

Why should I have to potentially get false copyright strikes by refuting these claims, when the fact of chronology proves it? (as well as the content of the video!)

The composer Thomas Wander was actually born, Thomas Wan*er. For another example of complete... that word, look no further at the reason why my channel is currently shadowbanned on Youtube, hence a lack of content at this time.

The tweet below shows the cause of it, since Youtube Copyright Strike in 2025 = Shadowban.

Given that I was able to submit a copyright counter-notification on Thursday August 7th, that means it'll take until Thursday August 21st to resolve, at which point I should be able to start uploading videos again.

I won't post the tweet's contents here, but you can see what the problem is in detail. Hopefully this will be resolved soon, but certain people need a damn good Paddington Bear hard stare!

Unfortunately, these people are complete currants, and I'm counting the days until things are back to normal.

So, I have a copyright strike on Youtube - EVEN THOUGH I MUTED THE AUDIO BEFORE THE STRIKE TOOK EFFECT. It is SHADOWBANNING my channel.

Friday lunchtime, Republic of Music tell me they've emailed YouTube to retract it. Then they swan off for the weekend, till Tuesday!

TeamYouTube are just bots, Youtube Support MIGHT be human (not convinced), but their service has got shockingly fucking shit in the past couple of years, and they've told me they've had no such email. And when you try to contact them, you're lucky if you get a response within 24hrs.

When did customer service on this planet get so fucking awful?!

Youtube's screwing around again, and my videos aren't getting shown to people. I don't know why, and Youtube's help bods are no help.

Last time, this took 2-3 weeks before things went back to normal, so I''ve scheduled one video per day for the next few days to see when the tide turns.

If you see this, please check them out, like and comment on them etc. After all, my two biggest fans - MJR and Radical Reggie - are eagerly waiting for things to return to normal!

Just taking a brief break from making videos*, because - as experienced by myself 2-3 months ago, and by many people on Reddit - Youtube's algorithm is screwing about with our channels.

As such, whereas before, videos would get pushed out to new viewers via Youtube Recommendations and Suggested Videos, that's all stopped for reasons unexplained. It's like the system has just 'turned the taps off'.

I could be making a ton of videos right now, but there's no point uploading them, when the algorithm will dump them down the memory hole, and they'll only be seen by about three people.

Plus, I tried putting this to Youtube "Support". They haven't a fking clue, and just claim that everything in the garden is lovely. I really feel like I'm talking to an Eliza program when I converse with them.

(*apart from the occasional Short, as they seem to be unaffected)
