It's not the flashiest thing I've built with AI, but seeing it working and being used has made it one of my favorite projects.

Multiple IP phone brands, a mix of PBXs like Cisco, FreeSWITCH, and Asterisk, all built up over the years. Every vendor has its own provisioning tool and its own way of managing phones. It all worked, but it was always a hassle.

So I built Ringamo Provision: one central place to provision and manage IP phones across different brands and PBXs.

Plug in an IP phone and it configures itself. Move it to another location, update it with one click—and as new phone models are tested, they can easily be added to the platform.

The best part of building with AI: problems that were once too expensive to solve suddenly become worth solving.

Just wanted to share something from my day-to-day work.
I’ve been using Superpower (Claude plugin) for open-source telephony projects — design, implementation, testing — and honestly, it’s working much better for me than GSD.

Also, Claude Code with its crazy frequent updates… I can’t even think of working without it anymore.
If you haven’t tried it yet — start today.
If you’re a VoIP engineer and not using Claude Code, I genuinely feel like you’re missing something.

You need to know how to create an MCP — today.
Once you understand what it does, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it.
I used to spend so much time opening Sngrep or Wireshark, filtering SIP packets, checking call flows — just to see if there was any issue, especially with voice quality.

Now I just:
- Point to my .pcap file
- Ask, “Any problems today?”
- Boom — instant analysis

No Sngrep, homer or Wireshark, no filters, no scrolling.
Just a quick report: number of calls, duration, SIP signaling, and whether everything’s okay.
How?
I built a small MCP (Model Context Protocol) that connects Claude to my system.
- What’s MCP?
It’s basically a way to connect AI tools with your actual systems.
Instead of just chatting with AI, you can give it access to do real work — analyze files, check databases, run scripts, whatever you need.
In my own words:
“AI just talks — but with MCP, it can actually act. Cool and a bit scary, I know.” 😅

Instead of learning new languages, we’ll soon be able to inject them — instantly translate, speak, and understand in real time.
We’re not there yet, but I truly believe we’re getting close.

I recently worked on a real-time translation AI bot from Parloa, integrated it with Sprinklr, and it was a lot of fun!

This module for VICIBOX 11 plays a sound file when a customer is in the queue, alerting call centre agents to the presence of waiting callers. This feature helps ensure agents are promptly notified of customers in the queue,
