New on my Substack! My anti-AI commenters and I have the same ideas about what makes art. The only difference is my definition has expanded to include creating with AI. open.substack.com/pub/aivideoschool/p/ai-is-not-ar…

I just posted a Kling O1 tutorial and moments later Kling 2.6 is announced. Which model are you more excited about?

This 10 minute AI movie about the history of Black boxers is amazing, but what blows my mind more is this is the teaser for an AI feature film @TashaCaufield is putting out next year. Go subscribe to this amazing AI storyteller.

Happy Halloween! I love the Mundane Halloween costumes in Japan so I made a Veo inspired concert t-shirt. I'm going as an AI character. The second photo is an actual AI version of me for reference.

Just a heads up that if you search for AI Video School and see ads for AI video courses, I'm not affiliated with any of them. I hope to offer courses someday because people often ask. Anything I offer will be on aivideoschool.xyz Thanks!

Does anyone remember seeing GANfield 5 years ago and getting a weird feeling that this was something totally new and exciting despite how weird it was (or because of how weird it was)? Anyway... happy Garftober!

Sora 2 was announced and is available to those lucky enough to have an invite code. Sora 1 never lived up to its video promise but their image generator was the first to allow Scene Control - I was actually hyping it up in my last video about WAN vs Veo. Check out the official release. openai.com/index/sora-2/

Did you get my very first Substack email newsletter today? Instead of focusing on tools and workflows, I'm going to use Substack to focus more on the storytelling aspects of creating with AI. open.substack.com/pub/aivideoschool/p/a-once-in-a-…
When you subscribe, you'll get an email with a link to the same prompt sidekick I use. Check your junk/promotions folder if you don't get one automatically delivered.

Nano Banana is definitely impressive but Sora has allowed you to "move the camera" around images in a multi-turn way for months now (video below). Runway's Aleph allows you to re-frame shots too. In my brief tests making one short film, it seems like Google's version is faster and slightly more consistent (it's better with objects than faces). Which is your favorite multi-turn editor?
