Our footage is shot in stunning high definition with spectacular surround sound and stellar editing and cinematography. We also provide railfans, photographers, and videographers a unique opportunity to experience living railroad history at the photo charters we host throughout the year at various heritage railroads. We strive to provide a world-class experience at an affordable price.

📣 PHOTO CHARTER ANNOUNCEMENT: RETURN of the MOVIE TRAIN! March 29, 2026 📣
In partnership with @Railtown1897SHP, Dynamo Productions is excited to invite you to Jamestown, California, for a one-of-a-kind photo charter celebrating the return of Sierra Railway No. 3. For the first time in over thirty years, this historic 4-6-0, a Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works product of 1891, will pull a freight train!
The locomotive will appear as it did in movies, with a balloon stack, box headlight, wood load on the tender, and a number plate temporarily painted black with aluminum silver. Period scenes will be staged between Jamestown and Rock Siding. We can’t wait to share this historic return with you and capture a piece of Sierra Railway history in action!

Dynamo Productions was honored to host a fantastic night photo session this past Saturday with the @AmericanSteamRailroad as part of their massively successful 80th Birthday Open House! Special thanks to our attendees, actors, ASR’s staff and members, Grayson Littleton and family for providing the steam traction engine, @midwestrailway for hosting, and @lynchpincreative for providing the night’s smoke. The front “American Freedom Train” nameplate blank is out of storage and being prepped for welding; the bracket for the headlight eagle is taking shape; and the flying numberboards have taken their rightful place atop the boiler. More is still to come in the way of paint, lettering, smoke machines and other accessories to make the locomotive look its best.
