TIP: have a spare, they are easily lost (trust me). 4. iron - ironed seams = cleaner results. TIP: not ironing before cutting can result in inaccurate cuts and affect the overall shape! 5. practice material - allows you to practice what you are making + new techniques. TIP: practice on the same material type/ layers and test tensions + stitch length. 6. machine needles - having a spare pack avoids projects being put on pause (they can be easily broken).
