Hi, I’m Ibrahim. I live in Uganda with my grandmother. A couple of years ago, I started rescuing dogs and cats because I saw so many animals in my community being hurt and left alone. It made me sad, and I wanted to help.
To me, animals are like people. They feel emotions and need love and care. I built a small shelter near my home so they have a safe place to stay. During the day, they play outside, and at night I bring them in so nothing bad happens.
It’s not easy to take care of them all. I’m still young, and I depend on donations to buy food and medicine. But I try my best every day because they need someone to stand up for them.
