After nearly 8 months in the making, I’m thrilled to finally share my latest pattern with you all – the #DaeDress! The PDF sewing pattern is now live on my website 🤍

The Dae Dress features a V neckline and two drawstring ties that gather above the bust, creating a unique smocked effect. This A-line dress includes a back yoke with gathers, voluminous sleeves, and is finished with a wide hem and in-seam pockets. A truly distinctive piece, the Dae Dress can be worn for special occasions or everyday wear.

The pattern is a multi-size PDF including sizes 6-24.

With the help of my pattern testers, we concluded the skill level is somewhere between advanced beginner and intermediate. The instructions include detailed sketches to guide you through each step of the sewing process. 

Intended for light to mid-weight woven fabrics, the dress in the images was made using a lightweight cotton seersucker purchased during my trip to Japan last year.

I wanted to create a bias skirt with substance. I made this skirt with linen in mind so it could be easy to wear everyday but is also elegant enough to be dressed up for special occasions.

The A-line bias cut silhouette comes in two different lengths - full and midi length. The skirt features a wide elasticated waistband with drawstring detailing and is finished with french seams. It’s the small and subtle details that elevate this skirt.
