BJP leader Kirit Somaiya sends notice
claiming damages of Rs 10 crore accusing me of calling him ‘Totla’ !

Apology in two national newspapers and damage to reputation charges Rs 10 crore is what my dear friend BJP’s Kirit Somaiya has demanded through a notice sent to me by his lawyer! All this because he accuses me that I called him ‘Totala, Totale, Totlya’ ! And he alleges that I threatened to telecast his alleged xxx reel at Mumbra’s main square.

Mr. Kirit Somaiya you have the shameless audacity to call Indian Muslims as outsiders and infiltrators even if we are as much, if not more, patriotic Indians as much as you and your partyworkers are. Madarsas are sought to be closed because people like you feel they are teaching young minds to become terrorists. Places where the majority Indian population is Muslims are termed as hub for terrorists. Mr. Somaiya you target places like Mumbra, Malegaon, Mankhurd, with your own admission, because these places have majority Muslims. You ridicule and show in bad light, the names and attributes of our Allah. You make all kinds of false accusations against democratically elected peoples' representatives from Muslim community only to fuel your communal politics and harass them using police machinery. You tarnish the image of Indian Muslims and create an atmosphere of mistrust on innocents from this community by your sweeping comments and by using the govt machinery because it is BJP govt- and now my friend Mr. Kirit Somaiya, you want to earn a compensation of Rs. 10 crores from me for calling you a "totla" or is it because I stood up to stop the harassment you have been doing of people from my community and you want to scare me ? You compare AIMIM our duly registered party with the Election Commission of India with that of Jinnah’s Muslim League of Pakistan. Your party discriminates the Muslims from the main stream Indians and argues that Muslims dont deserve reservation in education also, even if the Hon’ble Bombay High Court has observed the dire need for such reservation for Muslims in its Orders.
His language, tenor and spirit against Muslims at large, is this not objectionable ? Trying to make a case out of nothing. Colour green or colour orange - is this even a case for the Police to issue notice against ? People should ask - what is an offence ? Repeated acts to persecute a community or while raising objection to such persecution, calling a person who indulges in such persecution a "totla" - you decide.
Allhamdullihah, Allah ne sahi kehene aur sahi karne ki bahot taakat di hai. I have full faith in the Constitution of India and the legal system Mr. Somaiya. Let’s meet in court, dear.
