OG Sony A7. Hard to beat that price for a full-frame mirrorless (for adapting crazy lens setups to!)
I'm excited to try it out compared to the Sony a7ii, which I originally went for because of the sensor stabilization. But the cost savings here is big enough to consider this guy.
Plus, it's a cool piece of history kicking off this famous series. Happy snappin -james

6 years ago I posted a video about buying and using an old DSLR. I was tired of all the rushing after the latest and greatest gear and just wanted to have fun with photography.
6 years and 251 videos later we are a day or two away from 100,000 subscribers! I wanted to thank you all for hanging out, introducing yourselves, showing me your photos, talking cameras, and watching my dumb videos all along the way - it's been awesome seeing how many other people love photography like I do. It's a great hobby. And it doesn't have to be expensive.
I have almost learned how to keep my video in focus and edit. Still getting the hang of it 🤣 let this be a lesson to not worry about perfection and just share what you love.
Trivia time - what was my original channel name and why did I change it? 🤔
You may have seen I hinted at this camera in the recent Samsung video. Starting to shoot it now and it's pretty dang good... Threw the new Viltrox Z1 flash on it as well (sent to me by them, full disclosure). The setup caught people's attention, that's for sure!
PEOPLE ARE BACKING THE YASHICA JUST TO WARN OTHERS 🤣
You can only make a comment on a Kickstarter page once you've backed it, and a few people have backed just to leave warnings to other potential backers about the history of Yashica branded Kickstarters.
Yashica has responded by pinning comments to the top that look suspiciously planted (why would real people say that, and why would they all use those hashtags... on a kickstarter project?? 🧐)
