Doctor Eggman has been confirmed to be facing off against Joe Musashi in the Shinobi: Art of Vengeance's SEGA Villains Stage DLC.

The DLC is scheduled to be added to the game early 2026, and will be included in the Digital Deluxe and physical editions of the game.

🎥 Paramount just dropped the new trailer for #SonicMovie3, officially confirming Keanu Reeves as the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog!

1️⃣ The trailer shows Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles teaming up again to face Shadow, whose powers are unlike anything they’ve encountered before.

2️⃣ Jeff Fowler returns as director, ensuring the continuation of the series' successful tone and style, with Jim Carrey reprising his role as Dr. Robotnik (and new in the film: Gerald Robotnik).

3️⃣ Cast includes James Marsden as Sonic’s human friend Tom, Tika Sumpter as Maddie, and the addition of new faces like Alyla Browne as Maria Robotnik and Krysten Ritter as Director Rockwell.

4️⃣ Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Adam Pally, and Lee Majdoub round out the ensemble.

🔥 Yes, you heard that right! Actor Keanu Reeves is reportedly set to be the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog in #SonicMovie3.

Multiple sources told The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline Hollywood, and Variety that the actor will join the cast of the upcoming Sonic film. Paramount Pictures has yet to issue an official comment about the highly anticipated detail.

The report followed a rumour from film industry insider John Campea, in which he cited an individual who had talked to him at an after-party following a screening of Universal’s The Fall Guy. Campea was also told not to discuss it publicly until the week after the industry-exclusive event, CinemaCon.

Over the weekend, the insider initially teased that the actor who would voice Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 would not be Hayden Christensen, an actor highly rumoured by #Sonic fans on social media, but said that it would be someone that would make people “very happy.”

Reeves, a popular actor in action-related films, was known for his role as John Wick in the titular film series, and is currently involved in the production of Outcome, an Apple TV Plus original film.

#SonicTheHedgehog fans and #DragonBall followers mourn the death of a beloved creative visionary. Akira Toriyama has died at the age of 68.

Toriyama, known for his unparalleled creativity and passion, leaves behind a rich legacy of manga titles and artworks that have captivated audiences worldwide, and earned the admiration of countless individuals in the #Sonic community.

The Super Saiyan transformation, a core pillar to Toriyama’s Dragon Ball series, was widely seen by Sonic fans as a major inspiration to Sonic, Shadow, and Silver's super transformations.

The artist succumbed to blood suffusion around the brain last Friday 1 March, according to a statement issued by his studio late Thursday night.

A private funeral service was held with close family members. His family requested privacy and refrained from engaging in interviews, but the studio promised a plan for a commemorative gathering to honour Toriyama’s life and work.

Exclusive: Footage shared with Tails' Channel appears to corroborate rumours that #SEGA was working on a new #Sonic the Hedgehog mobile game inspired by #FallGuys.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Amy were depicted in designs similar to the style of the recent Sonic & Friends shorts from SEGA of Japan.

The game was planned to feature social elements similar to Mediatonic’s 2020 battle royale Fall Guys, albeit with platforming mechanics and cosmetics unique to the Sonic franchise.

SEGA has yet to officially announce the upcoming project, but its parent company already publicized a desire to launch “several new mobile titles” for Sonic the Hedgehog in the future.
