Hi everyone - every year people ask if I do a Black Friday sale, and I want to explain why I don't. If I were selling electronics or shoes I might do a sale - but since the course is not an impulse buy or a stocking stuffer, rather it's a serious investment in your future, I don't think it's appropriate. I also don't think it's fair to the students who pay the normal price to randomly lower the price just because everyone else in retail goes kind of crazy in late November.

If I'd saved up for months to buy the course then a week later it was half price, I'd be pretty annoyed. So I don't do that - and you know all your fellow students have paid the same.

Also, the course is less than nearly all comperable bootcamps or college certification course but with more testimonials, and the value proposition is that you pay less than the cost of an iphone and learn how to get a job that pays $60K a year for the rest of your life, which from some people is really a $2 Million+ ROI or lifetime value.

The course includes direct coaching from industry professionals in PPC and SEO - people like Nick who has managed millions of dollars in accounts and worked with clients like Netflix, and Ivy who has done SEO for Crate and Barrel, a billion dollar company. I also personally give feedback on resumes and answer questions in the FB group. Most online coaching programs with this level of support cost at least $3,000 to $5,000 or more.

Plus there is a community with other alumni who have incredibly impressive resumes. Working with coaches like this and alumni is the "networking" component that compels so many people to go $100K in debt for college.

I changed the price to $797 in 2021 and haven't changed it since, even as the prices of other products has gone up exponentially.

Also I don't like to FOMO Frenzy of Black Friday - I don't want people worrying about missing out on some kind of deal. Whether you sign up for the course today or in January it will be the same price. And if I do raise the price (which is overdue, just even adjusting for inflation) I'll give my customers a lot of advanced notice.

Hi everyone - well, it's been a busy week out there in the world, so I held off on publishing my next interview, but will do so next week. I am currently in Japan. I really love the food and culture in this country. I'll be returning to Thailand for a while so I will finally be able to do some more interviews without moving around constantly. Just a quick note: I am returning to my classical style of videos, focused more on digital marketing careers and issues and interviews than side hustles. It was exciting to win the favor of the youtube algorithm for a couple of months, but I have more passion for talking about digital marketing and mindset.
