I've just watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and I think it's a great Marvel movie... [MINOR SPOILERS]

Not only was it a consistent and exciting movie, but we also got blessed with some new characters who will probably get their own films sooner or later. The comedic and dramatic elements were perfectly balanced. The actors' performances were excellent, and the special effects also lived up to Marvel's standards.

I'm not gonna lie, I did see the plot twist coming, but I still consider it very well made.

Some people consider it the best Spider-Man movie ever made. I gotta admit, it's possible.

Great film!

"My Only Experience with Hallucinations"

Before going on my fourth vacation trip this year, I hadn't slept all night. The next night was spent travelling, so I didn't have an opportunity to get any good sleep either. To sum up, I went 48 hours without sleeping.

When we finally arrived at the hotel, all I wanted to do was go to bed as quickly as possible. I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower when suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a sparrow jumping through the room. I rubbed my eyes and looked again—it wasn't there anymore.

Pretty funny experience... What's ironic is that I couldn't fall asleep once I got into bed.

"I bought an original mask from Eyes Wide Shut"

During my European trip, I had the opportunity to visit Venice — an iconic city deeply connected with cinema and fashion. A few weeks before that, I had watched the insanely disturbing film Eyes Wide Shut. I loved the idea behind it and felt a desperate need to own something connected to the movie. That’s how I found Sergio Boldrin, one of the original craftsmen behind some of the masks, and his workshop, La Bottega Dei Mascareri.

The place itself made an enormous impression on me. The atmosphere inside did resemble the movie in some ways. Photography inside the store was strictly prohibited (apart from the one photo I took with Sergio), which made the whole place feel even more cryptic and niche.

I had an amazing conversation with the artist himself and eventually bought the exact mask I had been looking for from the very beginning.

Sergio is a true master — exceptionally talented and deeply passionate about his craft. I feel honoured to own a mask made by him: an independent artist who also created costumes for Stanley Kubrick’s film.

The mask itself has suddenly become one of the most valuable things I own.

I've just listened to Everywhere at the End of Time (Stage 3).

Once again, I've found the perfect opportunity to listen to it — it was around 2 a.m., and I was on a bus coming back from a trip.

The tracks are surely getting harder and harder to casually enjoy (in a good way).

I'm starting to get to know the band Black Country, New Road, and they've already made a huge impression on me.

I've only listened to some of their most famous songs so far, but their artistry and drama-like style are already fueling my growing obsession with them.

“The Place Where He Inserted the Blade” is an unbelievably beautiful song. That's my impression after only two listens, even though I haven't looked into the lyrics yet.

Have you heard of them? If not, I'm giving you my newbie recommendation!
