FYI if some of you haven't noticed, I don't put mid roll ads in my videos, for a number of reasons. Primarily because they break up the continuity of the video, degrade the viewing experience, and I know how annoying they can be. This means I take a hit in earnings from my videos, as those with mid roll ads can double, triple, or quadruple ad clicks and therefore earnings. YouTube is pushing very hard to add more and more mid roll ads to every single video on this platform, they are trying to squeeze every last bit of ad revenue out of content. I received a notification that YouTube will be adding mid roll ads retroactively to all older videos on the platform, unless one opts out.
Just wanted to point this out, that to me, the viewing experience is more important than squeezing ads into every last nook and cranny.

I have one more video coming up for 2024! It's taken a lot of cups of coffee, a lot of time editing, and kilometres covered on the ground. The subject is on people who go missing in the mountains and are never found - a couple local cases here in BC. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and New Years around the corner. - Luke & Nina

I have a few more videos from the Azores to post, I really enjoyed the food, wine, culture, beautiful landscapes, lava coastline... but don't fret, Nina is doing just fine, and we're going on lots of walks. The rainiest time of year has come to BC, so it's a good time to work on videos before winter really arrives. Nina will show up when we do something video-worthy in the snow.
