Just a quick thank you for all being here and the support; this year marked five years since we started on YouTube, which is crazy! And we know so many of you have been here this whole time. Whether you’ve been here since 2020 or just joined us, we want to say a massive thank you to every single one of you who has supported us!

We’re taking this Saturday off to be with family over the holidays, but we’ll be back in the New Year :)

Truly Criminal

Five years ago today, we uploaded our very first video to YouTube. It was a complete step into the unknown. We were self-taught, editing on iMovie, recording in our bedrooms, and fitting it all around full-time jobs, but we hoped that maybe we had something to offer that would connect with viewers. We still remember the excitement of seeing 10 views in just a few hours, and honestly, that excitement has never left us.

For those of you who don’t know, we’re sisters and we run this channel together, which has been the most fulfilling, challenging and rewarding thing we’ve ever done.

We could never have predicted that this little lockdown project would grow into what it is today. 870,000 subscribers and more than 250 videos later, it feels completely surreal to look back and see how far we’ve come.

We’re so proud of the community we’ve built and the work we get to do, and we’re endlessly grateful for every single person who’s watched, supported, and believed in us. It’s never lost on us just how lucky we are.

Here’s to five years… and whatever the next five may bring 🖤

Hi everyone,

We will actually be releasing 2 episodes this week!
We had an episode pending for a while, as we went back and forth with YT on censoring bits etc, and now we've finally got it ready to go - we thought why not release it as extra video?

So stay tuned, as we will be looking into a case that takes us back to 2008 in Calgary, Canada.
A case where CCTV held all the answers to one of the most disturbing and heartbreaking crimes we've looked at.

Our usual Saturday case will be there just the same, as we look at the case of a young mother who went on on a night out... with her body being found just hours later. The police would use also a trail of surveillance footage to piece together her last moments and bring her killer to justice.

Hey all,

It's been a minute since we did a little community post!

As always, new video is on it's way tomorrow (7pm BST). When a young student failed to meet her brother for lunch, people immediately knew something was wrong. Little did they know that just a few hours before, 911 had been called after screams for help were heard coming from that very apartment...

We always get so many of you ask for extra episodes/content, and we wish we could do more per week for the main channel, but it's so time dependant. We just get one a week done now! (But maybe down the line, who knows!)
That being said, we do make an extra episode a month over on Patreon, as well as some BTS and early ad free access. We currently have almost 40 extra episodes on there ⬇️

We are also (very slowly) rolling our episodes out with Spanish audio underneath (you can click the cog in the corner and gives you the option to change the audio track). We definitely want to have multiple languages across all the episodes at some point, but as we're sure you can imagine - it is a mammoth task.
We're working with an amazing team that is translating and dubbing everything for us bit by bit, so you can hear a Spanish Alice (Sofia) on some of our episodes, and she is wonderful!

And finally, we are so so close to 800,000 subscribers... which is truly surreal. Thank you all so much!

Hey all,

We realised we hadn't done a Happy New Year post year - so a belated Happy New Year to everyone! Thank you for all the lovely messages and well wishes, we really appreciate them! 🖤

So, a lot of you ask if we'll ever make two videos a week, and while we can't do that right now (it takes our entire week to get one edited and through YT's check, as well as making an extra exclusive episode over on our Patreon) - we are now going to be uploading an extra 1 or 2 episodes a month on our podcast. For anyone who doesn't know, we upload the audio of our episodes to all the podcasting platforms for those who like to listen on the go.
