Alright, I need your guys’ opinion on the XJ build.

I found a complete 1980 Ford Bronco roller for $500. No engine, but it still has the transmission, transfer case, Dana 44 TTB front end and Ford 9-inch rear.

Which has me seriously considering going all-in and building the XJ into a legit 4WD long-travel TTB prerunner.

The other option is keeping it more trail focused — solid Dana 44 front axle, Ford 9-inch rear, V8, cage, 37s, etc. Basically something that can crawl and trail ride but still have a little prerunner influence.

Both would be fun to build, but the TTB setup would definitely be something different.

So what would YOU rather watch me build?
