Cars that were stuck in front of the destroyed Romaniv Bridge in Irpin, along the main road to Kyiv are now stacked onto a parking area and have turned into yet another place of remembrance of the cruelty of war, inflicted by Russia.

The Romaniv Bridge over the Irpin River in Kyiv Oblast was blown up by Ukrainian forces on 25 February 2022, the second day of the full scale invasion. This hampered evacuation efforts for locals, but stopped the Russian advance to Kyiv. 'Three days to Kyiv' was stopped here.

Editing video of my visit to Bucha last summer. I need a drink to actually scroll through it all. Among others: Yablunska Street; a site where eight men were executed; memorial wall and mass grave at St. Andrew's Church. Fuckin' filthy Russian invaders.

Some of what Russians left behind when they were kicked out of Borodyanka, Kyiv Oblast in March 2022 is now on display in a museum run by locals. Ask someone at the Borodyanka Palace of Culture to let you in and they'll show you around.

Dmytrivka is a town, a collection of towns or a remote suburb of Kyiv even if you want it to be. From the location we’re visiting in this video, it’s only thirty more kilometers to Mariinskyi Palace, the Presidential Palace of Ukraine. Fortunately, these Russian tanks never made it that far.

Among the destruction of the early days of the full-scale Russian invasion into Ukraine, the town of Borodyanka (Kyiv Oblast) is rebuilding. It was occupied for some five weeks, leaving destroyed buildings and people murdered by the barbaric hordes.
Ukraine is strong, Ukraine needs to be strong.

Banksy's "Solidarity with Ukraine" - an unofficial title - is a series of murals in deoccupied areas northwest of Kyiv. The one in the town of Borodyanka in Kyiv Oblast, features a young boy throwing a man to the ground. The man is seen as Putin, who is known to have played judo.

Never rode a funicular railway in my life, until 2025 came along. And I did two this year, the first one was the Montmartre Funicular in Paris, the second was the one in Kyiv, Ukraine. And oh, I also did one official 'Schwebebahn', which one do you think I did?

We’ll be traveling on the now famous Kyiv Express (IC 68) train between Warsaw in Poland and Kyiv in Ukraine. This lifeline is one of the main international trains connecting war time Ukraine with it’s neighbors to the west and is also frequently used by foreign heads of state to make the trip into Kyiv. We’ll be doing the trip in a sleeper cabin, but without meeting any foreign dignitaries.
