Alhamdulillah, we’ve just completed the first half of the Tazkiyah program “The Sound Heart” which was all about the diseases of the heart - and thousands of you have already begun purifying your hearts through it.
But purification is only the beginning.
Now it’s time to beautify.
The second half of the program starts tomorrow at 3pm UK time.
In this second half we begin exploring the Maqāmāt - which are higher stations of the heart that strengthen your relationship with Allah ﷻ and improve your character so that you become more like the Prophets.

You don’t want to miss the second. It’s essential for every Muslim.
Alhamdulillah, receiving this plaque in the post was both a moment of gratitude and reflection—very bittersweet. While it’s heartening to see the Deen of Allah ﷻ spread beautifully, it also reminded me of the Hadith where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ "Verily, actions are judged by their intentions."
This Hadith is actually very scary. You could be doing what seems to be the best and most rewarding of actions, but if your intention is flawed, those actions could mean nothing in the eyes of Allah ﷻ —or, even worse, become a source of punishment.
That’s why the Prophet ﷺ warned us that the first person to enter the Hellfire will be a scholar of Islam. Why? Because he sought knowledge for the praise of people, to be known by them and be referred to as a ‘Shaykh’ - rather than doing it sincerely for Allah.
No matter what path we choose in life, we must constantly check and purify our intentions so that everything we do in this world is solely for Allah’s ﷻ sake. The reality is that we came from Allah ﷻ, we must live for Allah ﷻ, and we will ultimately return to Allah ﷻ to be held accountable for our actions—and their intentions.
قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحْيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ "Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah—Lord of all worlds." (6:162)

In this session we took a deep dive into the Tafsir of Surah Kahf.

Out of all the sciences I studied in Mauritania and all the knowledge I gained, the topic of the rights of the parents in Islam was by far the most shocking to me.
As I delved deeper into this topic, I found my jaw constantly dropping.
It became apparent to me that the way you treat your parents can either flood your life - as well as the next - with endless blessings, or lead them both to utter destruction.
But what also became apparent to me is that most people sadly do not fulfil their parent’s rights correctly - and even worse, think they are fulfilling them correctly.
Mistreating your parents could very well be the root cause of your low Iman, anxiety, depression, financial difficulties, poor health, or any other hardship you may be facing.
That’s why studying this topic and applying it into your life is so crucial.
For that reason, I made a promise to myself that I would do everything I could to spread what I learned to help rectify people’s Dunya and Akhira.
This book is the result of that promise. It is concise, comprehensive, and practical. I believe it has the power to transform your relationship with your parents, and by extension, your life, insha’Allah.
I’ll be starting a live weekly program from tomorrow that will teach you the science behind the preservation of the Quran and Hadith to a scholarly level, insha’Allah.
This is very important knowledge to have especially when many people doubt, and even attack, the reliability of Islamic sources. You’ll know how to defend your Deen properly insha’Allah.

Why? Possibly due to the overwhelming amount of noise being made on social media from those who do not know (or wish to create fitnah).
