Some of y’all heard already but the Christmas album is out. I’m very thankful to have been able to get this project done in time and ran through a few hoops to do so.
God has been teaching me that what I sow, that I will reap (as well as my family). So when I sow wasted time, then my family often reaps the consequences as well. It’s not just me anymore. It’s my family that is hurting from my mistakes. I had mono last month and realized again that who God loves he chastens. I think one of the hardest obstacles as an independent artist/business owner/minister is the time waster of just looking at numbers. I confess that that has hurt my family many a time as it makes me unable to fulfill my complete roll as a husband first, and then a father second. There are many different tactics and good advice out there that I’ve tried that have never helped. But really the answer lies in Jesus Christ and my death, burial, and resurrection in him. That’s easier said than done though, as I often forget who I am. But why would scripture say, “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.” GOD FORBID. Then I must conclude that I should not continue in this way and that God intended that I should overcome sin through His Son. I must remember and reckon myself dead indeed unto sin but alive unto God! This gives me great hope! It takes it off of me and puts in on my Savior.
Please pray for me though, as I walk through this. I make music of course because I love it, and I make it because I love the Lord and want to reach more people for the gospel, but I also make music for you, because you love it. So I ask you to pray for me because I want to first be a good husband to my wife and father to my children. I need balance. And praise God in Christ there is balance and freedom and self control. Pray that I might have wisdom through this and build my self control once again. I love you all in Christ. I’m very thankful for this platform. Lord! Help me use this only for your glory and honor! Lord! Help me not to gain the world and yet lose mine and my family’s souls!

With great joy I am writing to you this morning, so dearly holding onto the promise of Christ and eternal life. I've been focused on the growth and love of money using music as a tool to get there. Well, there's no end to that. There's no satisfaction. There's no Christ in that. "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing without. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content." 1st. Tim. 6:6-8 I'm a wretch before God, yet His Blood was spilled on my behalf. I don't know what to say to that other than I get chills thinking about it. I fully believe it. I fully believe Him. I fully know that that Man died and rose from the grave on account that the world was evil (me included). I cannot with words express my gratitude to this God and Man for saving my life. I would not be here before you today. I ask for you (y'all) for forgiveness and prayers. I am now walking in the light. I will not hide in the shadows away from my church and family. I have been crucified with Christ, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use. That doesn't mean posting on social media all the time. That means loving the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Then loving my wife. Then my child. Then my church. Then the lost and dying by sharing the gospel. That means not complaining and walking in holiness before the Lord who has granted me the ability to go and sin no more. I know I won't be perfect but I know He was crucified not only to justify me but to sanctify this wretch. So I press on to the high calling in Christ for HE alone has called me. and the Lord is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." So let us be whom the Father has called us to be. Please call me out if you see anything I need to address. Love you all. Thankful for you all.
All that being said, 'The Man Jesus Christ' on the new deluxe album is out now. And it's about my story. Praise God for the hope we have in this GOD and MAN, JESUS CHRIST.
