Welcome to 2025, the Year of the Snake 🐍—a year of transformation, wisdom, and letting go of the old to embrace the new.

....When I paused to think about what I truly want this year, one word stood out: peace.

Not the “zen all day” kind (though that’d be nice), but the kind of peace where your heart feels full.

The kind where you’ve made peace with the past, you’re grateful for the present, and you feel content in your work and life.

I think we sometimes overlook how powerful peace can be.

We’re so busy chasing “more” of everything—when really, what we might need is less stress and more space to just breathe.

So this year.....I’m wishing for peace—for myself, for everyone I love, and for the world we live in.

Because with peace, everything feels a little lighter and a lot more joyful.

I wish I had known this Bible verse years ago when I first started my business. I was so impatient, thinking success would come in the first year. I remember feeling deeply discouraged with my first venture, a nail polish brand. I believed it would be easy to sell nail polish to millions of girls around the world—but it wasn’t.

I faced numerous failures before landing on the right idea: starting an outsourcing company. It took five years in business before I hit my first million in revenue.

In hindsight, it’s clear why success took longer than expected. I needed time to learn, build connections, and lay a solid foundation.

All of that eventually led me to create a business that offers the flexibility and freedom I value so much today.

This verse is a powerful reminder to stay patient and trust the process.

As entrepreneurs, we all face setbacks and challenges—it’s part of the journey.
But sometimes, those challenges can feel overwhelming.


One thing that’s really helped me keep my calm through the ups and downs is viewing problems in the context of a larger divine plan.


I trust that problem is there to help me grow and that with God, I can get through anything.
I ask myself :
“What can I learn from this?”
”What’s the bigger purpose here?”


When we stop focusing on the stress of the moment and start seeing the larger picture, it’s amazing how much lighter things feel.

Looking at this photo, I’m thinking, "Not bad for someone who’s more at home behind a laptop than in the countryside!" 🤣

…but honestly, being here makes me reflect on how far I’ve come and how I found my purpose.

I started ‪@OutsourcingAngelVA‬ as a single mum, just trying to create freedom for myself and my kids.

…now, my team gets to work from home, enjoy a real work-life balance, and spend time with their families—all while helping amazing entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

I’ve found my purpose in creating freedom for those around me, connecting people to the right resources and support to help them achieve their goals.

It’s proof that God’s plans are always bigger and better than we imagine.

🌳 These trees remind me of purpose—rooted in faith and constantly growing. Life isn’t always picture-perfect (like this photo might suggest), but when you lean into your God-given purpose, it just feels… right.

One of my favourite verses from the Bible says: "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' – Jeremiah 29:11

How do we know we’re succeeding each day?

Is it by the tasks we complete?

Is it the goals we achieve?

...Then why is it that, even after ticking everything off, we can still feel empty or exhausted?

One hack I’ve lived by is to measure success not by what I do but by assessing how "I am being".

Each day, my focus is on becoming the person I want to be remembered as—someone who is kind, generous, inspirational, positive, courageous, and energetic.

When I’m being the person I want to be, my sense of fulfillment soars.

So, let me ask you: who do you want to be remembered as?

What qualities define the best version of you?

Fill in the blanks and let that guide how you live your days.

Because true fulfillment comes not from what we accomplish but from who we become.
