#KitsuneSingle • Dive into Pollena and Max Wheeler’s atmosphere with their new track ‘Away’! 🗺

Discover it now with the link: Kitsune.lnk.to/playlistID 👆

Pollena first came across the beat for 'Away' on producer and DJ, Max Wheeler 's Instagram, and it instantly clicked. Max didn’t know at the time that before he agreed to work with Pollena, she already got down most of the topline ideas by recording the IG video from her phone into her mic, making a cheeky loop and having a play. This beat is the result of Max's experimentation in the studio, a way to stay sane during the pandemic, so he wasn't expecting Pollena's incredible song. Its hypnotic vibe isn't refined into a stereotypical structure, it’s embracing acceptance and hope 🌀

They worked on this track with one of their oldest friend to create a minimal and intimate community, which allowed them to be themselves without any pretense. In terms of sound making, they mixed software synths and analogue synths, combining conscious images with accidental ideas. Also, placing physical sounds such as guitars and chorus work in limited parts, they aimed to make cathartic effects 🌙

#KitsuneSingle • Spice up your walk with 'I Don't' Munan’s freshest track! 🕺

Discover it now with the link: Kitsune.lnk.to/playlistID 👆

After moving from Australia to South Korea, the songwriter/producer Munan became known in Korea's indie scene as one half of the pop duo Chimmi. He wrote « I Don’t » earlier this year when he was really into disco songs from the late 70's and the 80's. He wanted to make a song where you feel sophisticated and cool while walking down the streets, just like in the music video of « Stayin’ Alive » by the Bee Gees. Fun fact, he was going to delete this song off his computer until we contacted him saying that it was amazing. A word of advice from Munan: « So kids, never doubt yourself, let others decide if your creation is good or not » 🎶

Discover it now with the link: Kitsune.lnk.to/playlistID 👆

Playing on several Swedish national radio stations, Karl Meyer gives a glimpse of his R'n'B synths with  a touch of groovy sax keys. He wrote "Moonlight" with Kasper Witt Bengsten and David B. Wachmann last spring during a trip to Paris. After spending one of those evenings where the people, the food, and the music seem to match, they discovered the fragility and elusiveness of Parisian nights. The song captures the emotions of that evening by describing the perpetual quest and celebration of life's greatest moments, while accepting their volatility 🌃
